OPPO launches A6 Pro 5G in Singapore with long-lasting power and multi-year durability

OPPO launches the A6 Pro 5G in Singapore with long-lasting battery life, military-grade durability, smooth performance, and fast charging.

OPPO has introduced the A6 Pro 5G in Singapore, combining long-lasting battery performance, robust build quality, and smooth system operation to meet the demands of modern smartphone users. Designed to withstand everyday wear and tear, the new device promises reliable performance over several years while maintaining an accessible price point.

Built to last with advanced protection

The OPPO A6 Pro 5G has been engineered for resilience. It features IP69 water and dust resistance, military-grade shock protection, and a reinforced AM04 high-strength aluminium alloy frame that is more than 70% stronger than standard die-cast aluminium . Internal cushioning, known as Sponge Bionic Cushioning, protects key components from impact and helps reduce damage from drops, scratches, and even heavier pressure.

In addition, the device’s precision-engineered seals create a solid barrier against water and dust intrusion. Certified for IPX6, IPX8, IPX9, and IP6X protection, the phone can withstand rain, splashes, and submersion while keeping performance intact.

Battery technology built for the long run

Battery life is a central feature of the A6 Pro 5G. OPPO’s Battery Healing Technology uses specially designed electrolytes to repair battery materials, enabling the battery to retain up to 80% of its original capacity after 1,830 charging cycles—equivalent to more than five years of daily charging . The Singapore model comes with a 6,500mAh battery, providing up to 40.6 hours of talk time and 20.6 hours of video playback under typical conditions.

Fast charging is supported through 80W SUPERVOOC Flash Charge, a first for OPPO’s A Series. A full charge takes around 60 minutes, and a five-minute charge delivers an 11% boost. Intelligent charging management also helps preserve long-term battery health.

Smooth performance backed by software innovation

The A6 Pro 5G pairs hardware durability with strong software optimisation. Running on ColorOS 15, the device uses OPPO’s Luminous Rendering Engine and Trinity Engine to maintain smooth, responsive performance for up to five years. These technologies reduce lag, improve multitasking, and extend system life by tackling issues like memory fragmentation.

Tests conducted by OPPO showed consistent app startup times, stable multimedia playback, and reliable overall fluency even after extended use . Features like One-Tap Refresh further help maintain speed and stability over time.

The OPPO A6 Pro 5G with 256 GB storage will be available in Singapore from 1 October 2025 at S$399. Customers can choose between Stellar Blue and Coral Pink. As part of the launch promotion, buyers will receive a complimentary Bluetooth headset while stocks last.
