ASUS introduces the ROG Azoth Extreme gaming keyboard

The ASUS ROG Azoth Extreme gaming keyboard, featuring a carbon-fibre plate and OLED touchscreen, launches in Singapore in August 2024, priced at S$799.

ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced the launch of the Azoth Extreme, a 75% gaming keyboard that combines robust wireless functionality with superior aesthetics through its metal frame and aluminium alloy chassis. This premium keyboard features a carbon-fibre positioning plate to enhance typing accuracy by reducing keystroke vibrations and includes a full-colour OLED touchscreen for intuitive interaction with system settings.

Exceptional build quality and lasting performance

The ROG Azoth Extreme is distinguished by its aluminium alloy chassis, meticulously crafted through a rigorous 12-step process that includes sandblasting, anodising, and CNC machining. This process ensures minimal wireless interference and gives the keyboard a sleek, premium appearance. It is built to last, boasting an impressive 8000 Hz polling rate when used with the ROG Polling Rate Booster and offering up to 1600 hours of battery life.

Enhanced typing dynamics

Opting for carbon fibre for the positioning plate is crucial. It provides the stiffness needed for crisp, responsive typing while absorbing shocks to lessen typing vibrations. The Azoth Extreme also features three layers of dampening materials, including two layers of PORON and one silicone pad, all designed to reduce noise and enhance the acoustic quality of each keystroke.

Adjustable typing experience and innovative display

The Azoth Extreme introduces an adjustable gasket mount, allowing users to switch between a firmer or more cushioned keystroke feel with a simple flip of a switch on the keyboard’s underside. This adaptability ensures comfort and responsiveness during prolonged gaming or typing sessions.

Moreover, the 1.47-inch OLED display offers a smart interface for monitoring keyboard status and adjusting settings. It provides various displays, from connection status to detailed hardware information, enhancing the user’s interaction with the device.

Connectivity and comfort

This keyboard does not compromise on connectivity options, supporting Bluetooth, ROG SpeedNova 2.4 GHz RF wireless, and wired USB connections. Its Bluetooth functionality allows for seamless switching between up to three devices. The Azoth Extreme also comes with a silicone wrist rest and two sets of magnetic feet, which provide three adjustable tilt angles, ensuring ergonomic comfort regardless of how long you use it.

Availability and pricing

The ASUS ROG Azoth Extreme will be available in Singapore starting in early August 2024, priced at S$799.
