Deel has entered a multi-year global partnership with Arsenal, becoming the Premier League club’s Official HR Platform Partner as part of its first major move into world sport. The agreement will see the global payroll and human resources platform support Arsenal’s workforce management and operational needs, while significantly raising Deel’s brand profile across international football.
Under the partnership, Deel branding will feature across Emirates Stadium and throughout Arsenal’s digital channels. This includes visibility during all home fixtures in the Premier League, the Women’s Super League, the FA Cup and the League Cup. The collaboration positions Deel alongside one of football’s most recognisable clubs, followed by millions of supporters worldwide.
The partnership reflects Deel’s broader ambition to expand its global presence and reach new audiences beyond the technology and business sectors. For Arsenal, the agreement brings in a technology partner aimed at improving internal processes and supporting the scale and complexity of the club’s operations across men’s and women’s football.
Supporting Arsenal’s global operations
As part of the agreement, Arsenal will use Deel’s HR platform to help streamline the management of its workforce. The club joins a growing list of international organisations that rely on Deel to manage payroll, compliance and HR processes for teams operating across multiple countries.
Arsenal’s operations span a wide range of roles, from players and coaching staff to commercial, media and operational teams. The partnership is intended to support this complexity by providing a unified platform to manage employment and HR requirements more efficiently as the club continues to grow globally.
Alex Bouaziz, co-founder and chief executive officer of Deel, described the partnership as a natural alignment between two organisations with global ambitions. He said: “Arsenal is one of the most iconic clubs in world sport, followed by millions and competing at the highest level, which makes this partnership a natural fit with our own global ambition.
“We are proud to welcome Arsenal as a Deel customer, and support the club’s HR operations. This partnership is a milestone for us and places Deel at the heart of global football, connecting our platform with supporters and professionals in every corner of the world.”
For Deel, the agreement represents a significant step in extending its brand beyond its core customer base of businesses and HR leaders, into a sport with vast international reach and cultural influence.
Commercial growth and long-term ambitions
From Arsenal’s perspective, the partnership aligns with the club’s ongoing efforts to work with innovative global partners that support its commercial and operational growth. Juliet Slot, chief commercial officer at Arsenal, said the club was pleased to bring Deel into its partner ecosystem.
“We’re delighted to welcome Deel to our Arsenal family, a brilliant and innovative team who will bring so much to what we’re trying to achieve at our club,” she said. “Their global platform matches the scale of our ambition and operations, and their investment will continue to power our growth. We’re looking forward to many successful seasons together.”
The deal also highlights the increasing role of technology partners in elite sport, where clubs operate as complex global businesses with diverse workforces and international footprints. By integrating Deel’s platform, Arsenal aims to support its internal teams more effectively as it competes at the highest levels across domestic and international competitions.
Deel currently supports more than 37,000 businesses and 1.5 million workers worldwide, underscoring the scale at which the company operates. In October 2025, the company announced a Series E funding round that valued the business at US$17.3 billion, providing additional resources to fuel expansion and product development.
The Arsenal partnership builds on this momentum, offering Deel a high-profile platform to showcase its services while reinforcing its position as a global player in payroll and HR technology. For Arsenal, the collaboration represents another step in strengthening the infrastructure that underpins performance on and off the pitch.
