Fortune Brainstorm AI returns to Singapore as global leaders explore next-generation artificial intelligence

Fortune Brainstorm AI returns to Singapore on 22–23 July with top global leaders to explore scalable and responsible artificial intelligence.

Fortune’s Brainstorm AI conference is set to take place in Singapore on 22 and 23 July, marking its return to Asia at a time when artificial intelligence is rapidly advancing towards new frontiers in reasoning and real-world application. Held amid increasing interest in responsible and large-scale AI deployment, the two-day event will bring together over 60 speakers from nearly 20 countries, including technologists, business leaders, investors, and government policymakers.

The event focuses on the evolving “Age of Intelligence”, where AI systems are not only interpreting images, sound, and language, but also beginning to make decisions and take action. With this shift, the 2025 conference will spotlight how organisations can scale AI adoption while addressing ethical, regulatory, and sustainability concerns.

According to Clay Chandler, Executive Editor, Asia and Co-chair of Brainstorm AI Singapore, “For businesses today, the real challenge isn’t just adopting AI—it’s deploying it in ways that are effective, responsible, and trusted. At Brainstorm AI, we’re convening the leaders turning frontier technology into competitive advantage—while grappling with the risks, trade-offs, and accountability that come with it.”

Speakers and focus areas

This year’s programme includes a wide-ranging set of topics, from the emergence of AI agents capable of boosting productivity, to the integration of AI across finance, gaming, and sustainability. Key discussions will cover how AI is transforming banking operations, enhancing customer insight, and influencing digital entertainment. Sessions will also look at how organisations are shifting from theoretical planning to real-world AI implementation, and the environmental implications of expanding data centre infrastructure.

Attendees will hear from a lineup of influential voices shaping the global AI landscape. Among the confirmed speakers are Josephine Teo, Singapore’s Minister for Digital Development and Information; Tan Su Shan, CEO of DBS Bank; Oliver Jay, Managing Director, International, OpenAI; and Vivek Luthra, Senior Managing Director at Accenture and Global Lead for Data and AI in Asia Pacific and Southeast Asia.

Other featured participants include Nils Pihl, Founder and CEO of Auki Labs; Dr. Siew Chan Cheong of Maybank; ST Liew from Qualcomm; Saemin Ahn of Rakuten Capital; artist Refik Anadol; Trung Nguyen of Sky Mavis; Dr. David R. Hardoon and Craig Corte from Standard Chartered; Dr. Kyogu Lee of Supertone; Feroz Sheikh from Syngenta Group; Ren Yeong Sng from Temasek; Jess O’Reilly from Workday; Balu Chaturvedula from Walmart Global Tech; Sapna Chadha from Google Asia Pacific; and Russell Wald from Stanford’s Institute for Human-Centered AI.

Interactive format and global reach

In partnership with Accenture, the conference will offer a mix of one-on-one interviews, panel discussions, and interactive roundtables. This format is designed to facilitate open dialogue and encourage collaboration across industries and sectors. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet “Terry”, a robot from Auki Labs, and take part in live interviews or demonstrations.

Those unable to attend in person can view panel discussions online following each day’s programme. In addition, photographs from the sessions will be made available on Fortune’s Flickr account, with usage credited as “Courtesy of Fortune”.

Following the Singapore event, the Brainstorm AI series will continue with its third edition of the year in San Francisco, where the focus will shift to the most recent developments in AI reasoning and how enterprises are progressing from experimentation to full-scale deployment.
