Google expands Product Studio to more countries

Google Product Studio is now available in 15 new countries. It empowers businesses to create better visuals using AI tools for free.

Google has announced the expansion of Google Product Studio, its AI-powered tool designed to help businesses create improved product images. First introduced in May 2023, this innovative feature is integrated into Merchant Center Next, Google’s updated platform for managing product listings.

This rollout is a significant development for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and retailers, offering them an affordable and efficient way to enhance product visuals without needing costly photoshoots or advanced editing software.

What is Google Product Studio?

Google Product Studio harnesses the power of generative AI to make it easier for businesses to optimise their product images. With this tool, you can create polished visuals for Shopping ads, organic search, or even your e-commerce site, all with minimal effort.

Why does this matter? Because great visuals sell. Customers often judge products based on their images, and many businesses don’t have the budget to hire professional photographers. That’s where Product Studio steps in, offering features such as:

  • Background removal and replacement: Remove distractions, create professional-looking images, or add themed backgrounds for seasonal promotions.
  • Image upscaling: Improve the quality of low-resolution images to make them sharper and more appealing.
  • Seasonal and thematic overlays: With just a few clicks, you can add holiday themes or other creative touches to your images.

Recently, Google also introduced video generation to Product Studio, making it even more versatile for advertisers and businesses. High-quality visuals and videos can significantly boost click-through rates, leading to better conversions and increased sales.

Where is Product Studio available now?

Until now, Product Studio had limited availability. However, the recent expansion has brought the tool to 15 more countries, including:

  • Czech Republic
  • Denmark
  • Finland
  • Greece
  • Hungary
  • Ireland
  • Mexico
  • New Zealand
  • Norway
  • Portugal
  • Romania
  • Slovakia
  • Sweden
  • Turkey
  • Ukraine

With this update, Product Studio is now accessible in 30 countries. The original rollout covered regions such as:

  • Australia
  • Austria
  • Belgium
  • Brazil
  • Canada
  • Germany
  • India
  • Italy
  • Japan
  • Netherlands
  • Poland
  • Spain
  • Switzerland
  • United Kingdom
  • United States

A brighter future for e-commerce

The expanded reach of Google Product Studio signals a step forward for retailers worldwide. In a competitive e-commerce landscape, having high-quality product visuals can make all the difference. These tools improve the appearance of listings and drive better engagement and results.

As Google plans further expansions of Product Studio in the coming months, even more businesses can utilise these AI-powered tools to stand out in the market. The future of e-commerce is here, and it’s more accessible than ever.
