Kyndryl launches AI framework to drive dynamic enterprise performance

Kyndryl introduces its Agentic AI Framework, enabling businesses to scale adaptive AI agents for performance, security and operational impact.

Kyndryl has unveiled a new enterprise-grade framework that deploys intelligent, self-learning AI agents to help businesses improve operations and performance. Known as the Kyndryl Agentic AI Framework, the system is designed to augment human teams by orchestrating AI agents that dynamically adapt to changing conditions while maintaining human oversight.

The framework, announced on 18 July, draws on Kyndryl’s extensive experience in infrastructure deployment and the generation of over 12 million monthly insights through its Kyndryl Bridge platform. It is designed to work across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid IT environments, supporting complex workflows and large-scale IT estates.

According to Kyndryl, the framework combines self-organising and secure-by-design AI agents with advanced algorithms and optimisation techniques. These agents translate complex data into actionable, easy-to-understand insights that can drive greater efficiency and innovation.

“As customers worldwide adopt agentic AI to gain a competitive edge, it will increasingly impact the entire technology stack, including applications and business workflows,” said Ismail Amla, Senior Vice President, Kyndryl Consult. “Kyndryl is uniquely positioned to provide a holistic, infrastructure-first perspective that enables customers to deploy AI with confidence across mission-critical systems with scalability and industry standard security. With our unique insights from Kyndryl Bridge, our differentiated Agentic AI Framework, and our experience managing some of the world’s largest technology estates, we can help companies design, implement, and run agentic AI solutions at scale—tailored to their specific business productivity and innovation goals.”

Early use cases show wide-ranging potential

Organisations in both the public and private sectors have begun exploring how the new framework can support transformation at scale.

A national government is currently evaluating the Kyndryl Agentic AI Framework for a broad deployment across its IT systems. The goal is to improve public service delivery, ensure compliance, and reduce regulatory risks. Using the AI-driven insights, government stakeholders will be able to monitor real-time data such as traffic congestion, hospital bed availability and school attendance, helping them align policy with operational needs.

Meanwhile, a major financial institution is working with Kyndryl Consult as part of a digital transformation initiative. The aim is to automate compliance tasks, optimise IT operations, and speed up service delivery. With the help of the framework, the institution hopes to improve agility, increase cyber resilience, and meet regulatory demands, while fostering innovation and efficiency.

Addressing the AI adoption gap in enterprises

The launch comes as many enterprise leaders struggle to realise meaningful benefits from AI investments. According to Kyndryl’s 2025 People Readiness Report, only four in ten business leaders say they use AI-powered insights for decision-making or growth. Just one in five leaders report that AI is being used to create new products and services.

Kyndryl believes its framework can help bridge this gap by offering a secure, scalable approach to AI adoption. Built with zero-trust security architecture, privacy-by-design principles and encryption protocols, the framework ensures that AI agent behaviour is transparent, traceable, and continuously improved with human input. It also enables customisation through self-directed learning, allowing businesses to apply the solution across a variety of use cases.

Kyndryl Consult will support organisations in assessing and implementing the framework through tailored deployment strategies that meet specific business requirements.
