Republic of Gamers unveils the latest Zephyrus G16 in Singapore

The latest ROG Zephyrus G16, equipped with the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor, is now available in Singapore, promising unparalleled AI computing capabilities.

The latest version of the Republic of Gamers Zephyrus G16 has been launched. It features cutting-edge advancements in gaming technology, including the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor. This new model promises a transformative gaming and productivity experience encased in an ultra-thin, lightweight design.

Entering a new era of AI computing

The advent of artificial intelligence in computing has reached a new peak with the Zephyrus G16. Equipped with a 12-core AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor, this device is not just a laptop; it’s an AI powerhouse. The processor includes a dedicated AMD Ryzen AI XDNA 2 NPU, capable of delivering 50 TOPS of AI performance, which, combined with the CPU and integrated Radeon 890M graphics, totals 31 TOPS. This makes the Zephyrus G16 an ideal tool for AI-enhanced productivity applications, including advanced Windows Copilot features.

Further enhancing its capabilities, the Zephyrus G16 features an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU, which can deliver up to 321 TOPS of AI performance, bringing the laptop’s total AI processing power to an impressive 402 TOPS. This immense power supports the simultaneous running of multiple AI applications, making it perfect for gaming, photo and video editing, image generation, and coding. Gamers will particularly enjoy the DLSS 3 super-resolution feature, which uses AI to enhance game image quality.

Despite its powerful internals, the Zephyrus G16 maintains a sleek profile. It features a CNC-milled aluminium chassis, customizable Slash Lighting on the lid, and an ROG Nebula display with an OLED panel. The display supports NVIDIA G-SYNC and boasts a 16:10 aspect ratio, 2.5K resolution, and 240 Hz refresh rate, which is ideal for both gaming and content creation. The display also holds a VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification, ensuring superb HDR quality.

Internally, the Zephyrus G16 is equipped with 32 GB of LPDDR5X-7500 memory and supports the new SD Express 7.0 standard, providing exceptional SD card performance. This model is also the first ROG laptop to feature WiFi 7, offering higher speeds and reduced congestion, further enhancing its performance capabilities.

Availability and pricing

Starting today, the ROG Zephyrus G16 (GA605) is available for pre-order until 1 August 2024, with sales commencing on 2 August at a starting price of S$3,899. It can be purchased from the ASUS Online Store, ROG Experience Store Bugis, and selected authorised retailers.
