UiPath partners with PIC to accelerate AI-powered testing and cloud migration

UiPath and PIC partner to bring AI-driven agentic testing and cloud transformation support to enterprises in Taiwan and globally.

UiPath has announced a new partnership with President Information Corporation (PIC) to deliver AI-driven agentic testing capabilities to enterprises in Taiwan and beyond. The collaboration will centre on UiPath Test Cloud, a platform that uses artificial intelligence to streamline software testing and support organisations in their cloud transformation journeys.

Advancing cloud adoption through AI-powered testing

The UiPath Test Cloud allows businesses to automate the full software testing lifecycle, using AI agents to boost productivity, reduce costs, and speed up delivery. This technology plays a crucial role in supporting companies facing increasingly complex digital environments and pressure to accelerate cloud adoption.

PIC is using UiPath Test Cloud to help customers overcome challenges such as long testing cycles, high integration costs, and delayed time to market. These are common obstacles as organisations attempt to modernise their operations and become more agile in response to global economic uncertainty. By integrating Test Cloud into their operations, PIC enables enterprises to test applications more efficiently and reduce the time and resources required to bring new features to market.

According to a recent IDC study commissioned by UiPath, organisations that adopted Test Cloud improved test efficiency by 36%, doubled their feature delivery throughput, cut outages by half, and reduced troubleshooting times by 93%. These figures underscore the potential of AI-enabled testing to drive measurable improvements in software quality and business performance.

Supporting enterprise innovation and operational resilience

As part of the collaboration, PIC is helping clients fully automate their application testing, including test case design, data preparation, and execution. This simplifies system integration and shortens development timelines, giving businesses a stronger competitive position and laying the groundwork for long-term growth in Taiwan and international markets.

The partnership also enables continuous health monitoring of critical applications, even in production environments. This allows development teams to focus on innovation, while ensuring software remains stable and reliable. The approach also encourages wider participation in the testing process, making quality assurance a more collaborative function across the organisation.

“Our collaboration with UiPath has paved the way for a more efficient and scalable test automation process, enabling us to accelerate customers’ cloud migration and support their ambitious growth plans across the local market, as well as Asia,” said PIC. “In doing so, we’re able to deliver faster, more reliable applications while optimising resources and reducing costs—ensuring we’re well-positioned for the next decade of growth.”

A strategic move towards agentic automation

The partnership reflects a broader trend towards agentic automation, a term describing AI systems that act as digital agents to complete tasks with minimal human intervention. UiPath sees this as a pivotal development in enterprise automation.

“Agentic automation is a game-changer for organisations like PIC, enabling them to optimise critical processes such as test automation while driving efficiency and accelerating growth. By automating key workflows, businesses can scale faster, reduce costs, and focus more resources on innovation,” said Richard Chen, Regional Vice President, Sales, Greater China at UiPath.

He added, “As we herald the dawn of agentic AI, agentic automation will be critical to driving digital transformation for businesses, enhancing the security and efficiency of automated process governance, achieving sustainable growth, and maintaining a competitive edge.”
