ASUS launches Gaming V16 laptop in Singapore

ASUS introduces the Gaming V16 laptop in Singapore, featuring Intel Core 7 CPU, RTX 50 series GPU, and a 144Hz 16-inch display.

ASUS has launched its new ASUS Gaming V16 (V3607) laptop in Singapore, offering a blend of high-performance gaming and creative capabilities in a 16-inch form factor. The new model caters to mainstream users looking for solid graphics, immersive visuals, and strong design features at a competitive price point.

Built for performance and versatility

The ASUS Gaming V16 is powered by up to an Intel Core 7 Series 2 processor and the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU. With dual memory slots supporting up to 32GB of 5600MHz DDR5 RAM and PCIe 4.0 SSD storage, it delivers faster load times and seamless multitasking. DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation further boosts gaming performance by enhancing visuals and increasing frame rates.

To maintain stability during high-load tasks, the laptop includes an advanced cooling system with dual fans and heat pipes. These features make the V16 suitable for both gamers and creative professionals who require consistent performance for demanding tasks.

Visual and audio immersion

The ASUS Gaming V16 comes with a 16-inch Full HD IPS display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a 144Hz refresh rate, designed to deliver smoother visuals during gaming or content creation. The screen boasts an 89% screen-to-body ratio, balancing immersive visuals with portability.

Audio is another key highlight, with Dirac-tuned speakers and ASUS Audio Booster combining to provide rich and clear sound. These enhancements aim to deliver a more engaging gaming and media experience out of the box.

Design and user experience

In terms of aesthetics, the V16 features a matte black finish that resists fingerprints and includes standout design elements such as a Turbo Blue keyboard backlight, transparent WASD and arrow keys, and a twill-textured side panel. The laptop also comes with a full-sized ASUS ErgoSense keyboard and a touchpad that is 40% larger than previous models for better usability.

ASUS has also focused on enhancing remote working and video calling, with a 720p HD webcam that includes AI noise-cancelling technology, 3D Noise Reduction (3DNR), and a physical privacy shutter.

The device meets the MIL-STD-810H US military-grade standard for durability, ensuring reliability across different usage scenarios. Its 63Wh battery and energy efficiency, which is 30% higher than the ENERGY STAR standard, support long-lasting performance while keeping environmental impact in mind.

Pricing and availability

The ASUS Gaming V16 is available from 13 June at the ASUS Exclusive Store, ASUS Online Store, and authorised retailers. Prices start at S$1,699 for the V3607VH-RP521W model and go up to S$2,049 for the V3607VM-RP030W variant, which comes with higher-end CPU and GPU configurations and 1TB of SSD storage.

ASUS positions the V16 as a practical choice for light gamers, creators, and everyday users seeking a durable and efficient laptop that balances performance with affordability.
