ASUS unveils comprehensive AIoT solutions at Intel Tech Tour

ASUS unveils a broad range of AIoT solutions at the Intel Tech Tour, showcasing innovations across smart retail, manufacturing, cities, and healthcare.

ASUS introduced a sweeping array of AIoT solutions during the Intel Tech Tour held at their headquarters. This significant event brought together over 100 media representatives who explored ASUS’s latest advances in smart technology sectors, including retail, manufacturing, city management, and healthcare.

Albert Chang, Corporate Vice President and Co-Head of AIoT Business Group at ASUS, expressed enthusiasm about their partnership with Intel. “We are excited to collaborate with Intel to accelerate our customers’ digital transformation worldwide. ASUS has made a deep commitment to the AIoT business, employing over 1,000 AI professionals,” he stated. “Intel has always been an important partner in delivering AI-ready solutions to the market. Today marks an important milestone in our co-winning approach, and we look forward to bringing more innovative AI solutions to our industrial customers in the near future.”

Cutting-edge AI racing simulator and smart retail innovations

In a dazzling demonstration, ASUS and ERA Advanced, with support from Intel, showcased a sim racing experience driven by AI technology. This project involved converting an ERA racecar into a sophisticated simulator that integrates an advanced AI training coach. The AI agents, developed by ASUS and ERA Advanced, performed impressively, gathering data to improve racing strategies and techniques. The demo utilised ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16 laptops and ASUS IoT PE3000G edge computers, highlighting the seamless integration of hardware and AI capabilities.

In the smart retail domain, ASUS introduced its Smart Replenishment Solution, a transformative technology for supermarket operations. This system, powered by the ASUS IoT PE3000G edge computer and the Intel Distribution of OpenVINO Toolkit, automates the restocking of perishable goods, enhancing operational efficiency and reducing waste. The ASUS OneID IoRT Solution further optimizes the retail experience by merging online and offline data, providing comprehensive customer insights through advanced AI and machine learning technologies.

Innovations in smart manufacturing and smart cities

ASUS’s AISVision, a standout in smart manufacturing, simplifies AI model training and deployment for computer vision applications, significantly reducing workload by up to 80%. This tool is designed to enhance quality control processes through automated visual inspections.

For smart cities, ASUS showcased its Car and People Flow Analytics, which employ the robust ASUS IoT PE3100G edge AI computer. This solution excels in sophisticated image processing and AI inferencing, making it ideal for real-time object detection tasks. ASUS’s smart parking solution features the ALPR (Automatic License Plate Recognition) Edge AI dev kit, which boasts a 99.9% accuracy rate in plate recognition, supporting various advanced functionalities that simplify management and reduce operational costs.

Enhancing smart healthcare with AI

In the healthcare sector, ASUS introduced EndoAim, an AI-powered endoscopy tool that improves diagnostic accuracy by detecting and classifying polyps with high precision. This solution assists doctors in making more accurate evaluations and reduces the need for unnecessary biopsies, boasting impressive accuracy metrics that significantly enhance patient care outcomes.
