ASUS has launched a revolutionary range of displays at Computex 2024 in Singapore, including the world’s first 8K mini-LED professional monitor. This diverse collection is crafted to enhance professional content creation, hybrid work settings, entertainment, and personal well-being.

Pioneering clarity and colour accuracy

The standout of the lineup is the ASUS ProArt Display 8K PA32KCX, a 32-inch monitor that boasts a pioneering 8K resolution (7680 x 4320). It is renowned for its unmatched colour accuracy, achieving a Delta E value below one, and covers 97% of the cinema-grade DCI-P3 colour gamut. The monitor’s peak brightness reaches 1200 nits, with a sustained brightness of 1000 nits, ensuring breathtaking visual fidelity. It also features LuxPixel technology for enhanced detail and viewing comfort and is equipped with a built-in motorised flip colourimeter for automatic calibration. This model sets a new standard for professional displays, with dual Thunderbolt 4 ports and HDR10 compatibility, catering to a myriad of professional needs.

The ASUS ProArt Display 5K PA27JCV is another gem in the lineup, designed for those who demand high-resolution and colour precision in a 27-inch format. It displays at a 5120 x 2880 resolution and offers 99% DCI-P3 and 100% sRGB colour gamut, making it ideal for detailed creative work. The display includes Calman Verified certification and features extensive connectivity options like DisplayPort over USB-C, ensuring it fits seamlessly into any professional environment.

Enhancing productivity and entertainment

ASUS has also introduced the ZenScreen Duo OLED MQ149CD, a portable monitor with a unique 14-inch dual-OLED display that can extend up to 21 inches, thanks to its 360° foldable hinge. This feature-rich monitor supports both landscape and portrait modes, enhancing productivity for professionals on the move.

Another exciting addition is the ASUS ZenScreen Smart MS27UC, a 27-inch UHD IPS monitor that doubles as the first Google TV smart monitor from ASUS. This model allows for entertainment without a PC, featuring built-in Harman Kardon speakers and the ability to access thousands of apps via the Google Play Store. It supports a multitude of connectivity options, including HDMI 2.0 and USB Type-C, making it a versatile choice for both work and leisure.

Promoting well-being and sustainability

The new ASUS VU series monitors are designed with wellness and environmental sustainability in mind. Models like the ASUS VU249HFI-W and VU279HFI-W, as well as the ultra-wide ASUS VU34WCIP-W, feature technologies that promote better air quality and reduce eye strain. These monitors are built using eco-friendly materials, including 100% recyclable paper packaging and PCB Halogen-free components, demonstrating ASUS’s commitment to sustainability.

Overall, ASUS’s new display lineup at Computex 2024 not only pushes the boundaries of monitor technology but also emphasises user well-being and environmental responsibility, ensuring that these new displays are a smart choice for a broad spectrum of users.
