Echelon Singapore is set to return on 10–11 June for its 11th edition, reaffirming its position as a major technology and innovation platform for Southeast Asia. Organised by e27, the region’s leading tech and startup ecosystem enabler, the two-day conference will take place at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre and is expected to attract more than 8,000 delegates. The event will bring together entrepreneurs, investors, corporates, and government representatives from across the region to focus on business growth, cross-border collaboration, and digital innovation.
The conference will feature over 150 speakers across three dedicated stages—Future, Forge, and Growth—designed to explore current and emerging issues in technology, business, and society. Topics will range from artificial intelligence and ESG to corporate innovation and inclusive digital transformation. Curated startup showcases will take place in collaboration with Prudence Foundation, PIER71, Plug and Play, SparkLabs, and Block71, alongside industry-specific exhibitions covering sectors such as disaster tech, maritime tech, and generative AI.
Regional voices and ecosystem builders take the stage
This year’s speaker line-up brings together a diverse mix of business leaders, policymakers, academics, and startup founders. Notable names include Dong Shou, Chairman of ADVANCE.AI and Co-Founder of Advance Intelligence Group; Aaron Tan, CEO of Carro Singapore; Maureen Chong, Regional Vice-President of Zendesk; and Anuj Srivastava, Founder and Chairman of Livspace. Their discussions will cover a wide range of topics including AI development, climate technology, social innovation, and fintech evolution.
Political and academic figures such as Jeremy Tan, Mountbatten GE2025 candidate, and Dr Yaacob Ibrahim, former minister and now Advisor at the Singapore Institute of Technology, will also contribute to thought leadership sessions. Additional speakers include Eli David Rokah, CEO of Startup Blink, and Nicole Ngeow, Executive Director of Prudence Foundation, alongside rising startup founders Claire Leighton of FileAI and Shravan Verma of Speedoc.
Attendees can expect more than 50 sessions across the stages, over 200 exhibitors, and access to curated one-to-one meetings via Echelon Connect. Twelve expert-led workshops and roundtables will offer deep dives into sectors such as climate tech, digital infrastructure, and regional economic resilience.
Partnerships and MOUs to support regional startup growth
Echelon 2025 will also serve as a launchpad for several key strategic partnerships. e27 will sign three Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with SparkLabs Taiwan, Chung Yuan Christian University, and raiSE.sg. These partnerships aim to build capacity for startups across the region, create stronger links between academia and industry, and support impact-driven ventures that align with the social goals of ESG.
Commenting on the broader vision of Echelon, Mohan Belani, CEO and Co-Founder of e27, said, “Echelon has always been about more than just stage time and startup booths, it’s where real connections happen between founders, investors, and partners across the region’s innovation ecosystem. As Southeast Asia’s tech economy matures, the need for collaboration, trust, and shared action has never been greater. This year, we’re focused on breaking silos and building something lasting. The future of tech in Asia depends on how we work together, and here is where that work begins.”
Flagship startup programmes return with expanded regional reach
A central feature of the event is the return of the TOP100 programme, which will showcase more than 100 early-stage startups from over 10 Asian markets. The programme offers selected startups the chance to pitch live to investors and ecosystem partners, highlighting sectors including space tech, health tech, and sustainability. Ten standout companies will be shortlisted for a final showcase on the main stage.
These startups, along with others supported by Thailand’s National Innovation Agency (NIA), will also benefit from Echelon Connect—a tailored business-matching platform that enables focused discussions with potential investors and partners. This is intended to accelerate funding conversations, client acquisition, and regional market entry.
In addition to the Southeast Asian contingent, Echelon Singapore 2025 will see broader participation from ecosystems in Taiwan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh. These markets will be represented through delegation-led showcases and themed roundtables, developed in partnership with SparkLabs Taiwan, Sri Lanka’s Information Communication Technology Agency (ICTA), and other regional bodies.
Supported by institutions such as Xero, Remote, IMDA, and Google Cloud, Echelon continues to grow as a central meeting point for innovation in Southeast Asia, uniting startups, SMEs, corporates, and policy enablers to build the region’s digital future.
