Ferrari and HP have launched a US$5,599 limited-edition AI laptop inspired by Ferrari supercars, with only 5,000 units available.
Ferrari has returned to the laptop market through a new partnership with HP, unveiling a limited-edition notebook that combines automotive-inspired design with premium computing hardware. The launch coincides with the Monaco Grand Prix and marks the latest collaboration between the Italian sports car manufacturer and the technology company.

Known as the HP Scuderia Ferrari AI PC, the laptop is the result of a two-year development project between the two brands. Designed with a strong focus on aesthetics and engineering, the device draws heavily from Ferrari’s design language while incorporating the hardware and software features expected from a high-end HP notebook.
With a price tag of US$5,599, the laptop is aimed at collectors, Ferrari enthusiasts and users seeking an exclusive device. Production will be limited to 5,000 units worldwide, further enhancing its appeal as a premium, rare product.
Ferrari-inspired design takes centre stage
The laptop features a striking red finish inspired by Ferrari’s Rosso Magma paint, a colour used on several of the company’s vehicles, including the Icona Daytona SP3. The finish is designed to create a sense of depth and movement, while the palm rest features a lenticular effect that mimics motion blur.
Most of the chassis is constructed from anodised aluminium, CNC-machined for a refined appearance. On the underside, HP and Ferrari have incorporated carbon fibre, a material commonly associated with high-performance sports cars. This combination of materials is intended to reflect Ferrari’s focus on lightweight engineering and premium craftsmanship.
One of the most distinctive design features is a transparent section at the base of the laptop, known as the “engine bay”. Through the Gorilla Glass panel, users can view parts of the processor and cooling system. The area also includes a laser-etched serial number identifying each unit in the 5,000-piece production run, along with hidden details and references for dedicated Ferrari fans.
The glass panel features 2,000 individually drilled holes, adding texture and visual depth. Even the hinge mechanism takes inspiration from Ferrari’s vehicle designs, particularly the F80 hypercar concept. According to the companies, the hinge incorporates concentric louvres that help direct airflow and improve cooling performance.
Premium features paired with professional-grade hardware
While the notebook emphasises design, HP has also equipped it with specifications suited to professional and creative workloads. An Intel Core Ultra X7 processor powers the device and uses integrated Intel Arc graphics rather than a dedicated gaming graphics card.
The laptop includes 64GB of memory and a 1TB solid-state drive, providing substantial resources for productivity, content creation and multitasking. A 14-inch 3K OLED touchscreen serves as the main display, offering high-resolution visuals and touch functionality.
Ferrari’s influence extends to the keyboard, which features per-key RGB lighting and typography inspired by the carmaker’s branding. Users can customise the lighting effects or choose from several pre-configured animations. The trackpad has also been designed to blend into the palm rest, remaining largely hidden when the laptop is open. A thin illuminated line below the keyboard serves as its primary visual indicator.
Connectivity options include two USB-C Thunderbolt 4 ports, an additional USB-C 10Gbps port, a USB-A port, an HDMI output and a headphone jack. These features position the device as a capable productivity machine despite its focus on exclusivity and design.
Limited availability and luxury accessories
The HP Scuderia Ferrari AI PC will be sold in a select group of markets, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy and Japan. Availability will be restricted, reflecting Ferrari’s approach to many of its high-end vehicles and special editions.
Each laptop will be delivered in premium packaging and accompanied by a range of accessories. Buyers will receive a USB charger and a leather sleeve from Poltrona Frau, the same company known for supplying leather interiors for Ferrari vehicles.
The inclusion of the leather sleeve further reinforces the automotive connection and enhances the product’s luxury positioning. With production capped at 5,000 units and a retail price of US$5,599, the notebook is expected to appeal primarily to collectors and dedicated Ferrari fans.
Sales of the limited-edition laptop are scheduled to begin on 12 June.
