JOUAV launches next-gen intelligent drone hangar at UAS EXPO 2025

JOUAV unveils the JOS-C700, a fully autonomous VTOL drone hangar, at UAS EXPO 2025, advancing smart drone operations.

JOUAV has unveiled its fourth-generation intelligent VTOL drone hangar, the JOS-C700, at the UAS EXPO 2025 in Shenzhen. This latest innovation is paired with the upgraded CW-15V drone system, offering fully autonomous drone operations designed for continuous, 24/7 remote deployment.

The JOS-C700 is built to manage every stage of drone operation—from storage and automated take-off to mission execution, real-time data analysis, and autonomous recovery and charging. This complete system is tailored for use in public safety, emergency response, and infrastructure inspections, positioning JOUAV as a continued leader in industrial VTOL drone technology.

Designed for extreme conditions and wide coverage

The JOS-C700 is built for harsh environments, operating reliably at altitudes below 4,500 metres and in temperatures ranging from -20°C to 50°C. It holds an IP55 rating for protection against dust and water, and includes a dual air-conditioning system to maintain internal climate stability. The hangar also integrates sensors for wind speed, direction, and rainfall, as well as internal and external video monitoring and an automatic fire suppression system, increasing safety and operational awareness.

With a single-unit operating radius of up to 50 kilometres, the system supports both multi-hangar and multi-drone collaboration. This enables grid-based coverage and a “leapfrog” inspection mode, cutting down hardware requirements while reducing overall operational and maintenance expenses.

Smart payloads and enhanced positioning

The JOS-C700 includes quick-release mounts that allow for rapid swapping of various payloads. It can carry two payloads at once, enabling it to collect data from multiple sources during a single mission. This flexibility supports a wide range of operational needs across industries.

To ensure accurate positioning, the system combines visual-inertial SLAM with scene-matching technology. These features enhance the drone’s ability to localise itself in complex environments and improve its resilience to GPS jamming or spoofing, which can be critical in electromagnetically challenging areas.

AI-driven capabilities for real-time insights

One of the key highlights of the JOS-C700 is its onboard AI engine. This system includes a model library that can recognise more than 80% of common real-world targets, such as buildings, fire, smoke, water bodies, and waste. Its built-in generative AI functionality enables operators to interact with the system using natural language, receiving real-time insights, object identification, and situation analysis.

This AI-powered capability supports faster and more informed decision-making, giving users an advantage in dynamic and high-stakes environments such as emergency response or critical infrastructure monitoring.

The launch of the JOS-C700 marks another milestone in JOUAV’s drive to innovate autonomous drone systems. It reinforces the company’s commitment to building smarter, more efficient tools for modern aerial operations.
