Workato named a leader in 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for iPaaS

Workato named a Leader in 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for iPaaS, marking its seventh year of leadership with highest vision placement.

Workato has once again been recognised as a Leader in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS), marking its seventh consecutive year in this top position. The company also secured the furthest placement in vision for the second year running, reinforcing its long-term strategic direction and strong ability to execute.

The enterprise automation platform, headquartered in Singapore, continues to position itself as a key player in transforming how businesses manage and orchestrate operations. With a low-code/no-code platform, Workato enables both IT and business teams to integrate applications, data, and workflows quickly and securely. Its solutions are designed to support scalability, performance, and enterprise-grade governance, allowing organisations to embed artificial intelligence across end-to-end business processes.

Recognition for customer-centric innovation

Vijay Tella, CEO and Co-founder of Workato, expressed appreciation for the latest recognition. “Since starting Workato over 10 years ago, our main focus has been how we drive value for our customers — their success, future, and transformation. To be recognised as a Leader with the furthest in vision in this year’s Magic Quadrant for iPaaS is an honour for us,” he said.

According to Workato, the company’s leadership status reflects its impact on customer outcomes and its commitment to innovation, particularly in enterprise automation and AI-powered orchestration. This is echoed in Gartner Peer Insights, where Workato received an average rating of 4.9 out of 5 based on 452 reviews as of 20 May 2025 — the highest volume of feedback in its category.

Customer reviews highlight various strengths, including flexibility, ease of onboarding, and a wide range of connectors. An Integration Engineer in the travel and hospitality sector called it “a user-friendly solution for all automation needs”, while an IT manager in consumer goods praised its “diversity of connectors and onboarding charm”. Others noted its accessibility for users of varying technical backgrounds and its ability to handle complex, multi-ERP integrations.

Shaping the future of automation

Markus Zirn, Chief Strategy Officer at Workato, emphasised how the iPaaS market is evolving, particularly with the integration of AI. “Our industry is witnessing the remarkable evolution of iPaaS, especially with the infusion of AI orchestration,” he said. “The future of iPaaS goes beyond traditional integrations, transforming into enterprise orchestration platforms that enable intelligent and composable business processes.”

Zirn added that customer collaboration and trust continue to drive the company’s momentum and innovation. “We believe being named a Leader by Gartner with the furthest in completion of vision is a testament to our team’s dedication to transforming the industry.”

Gartner’s Magic Quadrant evaluates technology providers in dynamic and fast-growing sectors where differentiation between competitors is clear. Being named a Leader signals strong performance across both execution and strategic vision.

Continued growth and strategic partnerships

Workato’s recognition comes on the back of a year filled with key developments. These include new partnerships with Amazon Bedrock and Anthropic, and the launch of Workato One — the industry’s only platform that allows organisations to deploy enterprise-ready AI agents with deep business context. The company also appeared in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 and Forbes Cloud 100 rankings.

On the leadership front, Workato recently strengthened its team by appointing its first Chief Go-to-Market Officer, a Chief of AI Products & Solutions, and a new head of Product & Engineering. These appointments signal its ambition to scale further while pushing boundaries in enterprise automation.
