Razer unveils DeathAdder V4 Pro with pro-level features and ultra-lightweight design

Razer’s DeathAdder V4 Pro lands with 8000Hz wireless polling, a lighter design, and esports-level precision for serious gamers.

Razer has launched the newest version of its beloved DeathAdder series—the DeathAdder V4 Pro—and if you’re a gamer looking for top-tier performance, you’re in for a treat. Nearly three years after the release of the DeathAdder V3 Pro, this latest model is packed with upgrades. Despite the tech enhancements, it still sticks to the right-handed ergonomic design fans have loved for years.

Bigger comfort, lighter frame

The first thing you’ll notice about the DeathAdder V4 Pro is its redesigned shape. Razer has given it a larger rear end, offering more palm support, which is convenient if you’ve got bigger hands. Even with the extra size, it’s lighter than before, dropping from 63g to a featherlight 56g. Impressively, this was achieved without resorting to a honeycomb shell, making it one of the lightest ergonomic mice on the market.

For smooth movement, Razer added larger PTFE feet, which help the mouse glide effortlessly on most surfaces. You’ll also find a wider gap between the thumb buttons, which reduces the chances of accidental clicks during high-stakes gameplay.

Upgraded wireless power and precision controls

Under the surface, Razer has given the V4 Pro a serious boost. It now utilises HyperSpeed Wireless Gen 2, which is not only 63% more power-efficient but also features 37% lower latency compared to the previous version. You’ll get up to 150 hours of use at a 1000Hz polling rate, or around 22 hours if you choose to max out its performance with the new 8000Hz polling rate—made possible via a redesigned wireless dongle. This ensures near-instant input, even in wireless mode.

You’ll also get Razer’s all-new Optical Scroll Wheel, built to improve durability and eliminate the skipping that plagues mechanical wheels. Paired with Gen 4 Optical Mouse Switches—which are now tuned to require less actuation force while staying crisp and tactile—you’re looking at a mouse that can take on up to 100 million clicks. So whether you’re grinding ranked matches or streaming long sessions, it’s made to last.

Built for esports-level performance

Inside the V4 Pro is Razer’s Focus Pro 45K Optical Sensor Gen 2, which delivers up to 45,000 DPI, 900 inches-per-second tracking, and 85 G of acceleration. You’ll have full control over your settings via Razer Synapse, including options like Smart Tracking, Dynamic Sensitivity, and Sensitivity Matcher.

To ensure this mouse meets the demands of professional gamers, Razer collaborated closely with Nikola “NiKo” Kovač, a renowned Counter-Strike player. His hands-on testing helped shape the final feel of the mouse, ensuring it’s built for precision, responsiveness, and comfort.

You can grab the Razer DeathAdder V4 Pro now for S$259 from the official Razer Store, as well as through Razer’s stores on Shopee and Lazada. The mouse comes in both Black and White.

Whether you’re an esports pro or love a competitive edge, the DeathAdder V4 Pro offers a perfect mix of comfort, speed, and performance.
