Kahoot! teams up with Tour de France to deliver interactive learning experiences

Kahoot! partners with Tour de France to bring interactive cycling-themed learning to classrooms, fan parks, and homes worldwide.

Kahoot! has announced a new multi-year partnership with the Tour de France and Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, becoming the Official Digital Interactive Learning Platform for both events. The collaboration aims to bring the excitement of professional cycling to classrooms, homes, and workplaces through gamified learning and trivia.

A global classroom for cycling fans

As part of the partnership, Kahoot! will offer engaging and educational content based on the Tour de France and its women’s counterpart. These experiences will be accessible through the Kahoot! platform and designed to connect learners and cycling fans of all ages. The interactive quizzes and challenges will cover the history, highlights, and heroes of the iconic races.

Teachers can integrate Tour-themed content into their lessons, while families and colleagues can participate in trivia sessions and challenges for a more social and entertaining experience. According to the company, the initiative is intended to fuel curiosity and make learning about the sport accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

“We are thrilled to partner with the men’s and women’s Tour de France. By combining the global excitement of these races with Kahoot!’s engaging learning platform, we aim to inspire curiosity, celebrate knowledge, and connect people of all ages through playful learning—whether in the classroom, at home, among colleagues, or on the road,” said Eilert Hanoa, CEO at Kahoot!.

Creating new touchpoints for fan engagement

The collaboration also introduces on-site participation at the races themselves. Visitors to the Tour de France Fan Parks will be able to take part in live Kahoot! sessions throughout the events. These activations are designed to entertain and challenge fans, testing their knowledge of the race while adding a new layer of interactivity to the fan experience.

“This partnership with Kahoot! perfectly reflects our commitment to bringing the Tour de France to life across all platforms and in all its forms, especially by combining sporting passion with playful activities,” said Julien Goupil, Media and Partnerships Director at A.S.O. “Through this collaboration, we’re offering fans, both young and old, a new, interactive and entertaining way to discover and immerse themselves in the magic of the Tour, whether at school, with friends, or with family.”

Timeline and race details

This year’s Tour de France is scheduled to run from 5 to 27 July 2025, beginning in Lille and finishing along the Champs-Élysées in Paris. The Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift will follow shortly after, from 26 July to 3 August 2025. The women’s race will include nine stages, kicking off in Vannes and ending in Châtel.

The Kahoot! partnership marks another step in expanding the reach of the Tour de France beyond traditional sports broadcasting, blending education, entertainment, and fan engagement into one experience.
