Lenovo unveils cutting-edge AI solutions and pioneering liquid cooling technology

Lenovo launches new AI solutions and 6th gen Neptune liquid cooling, enhancing AI deployment and efficiency for businesses globally.

Lenovo has launched a new suite of enterprise AI solutions and advanced liquid cooling technology aimed at revolutionising how businesses deploy artificial intelligence. The unveiling includes the 6th generation of Lenovo Neptune liquid cooling, which promises practical and energy-efficient AI applications, and a range of NVIDIA-powered services designed for rapid and large-scale AI implementation.

Transforming enterprise AI with comprehensive solutions

Lenovo’s new AI offerings provide comprehensive, business-ready solutions across various industries. In collaboration with NVIDIA and utilizing the expertise of the Lenovo AI Center of Excellence, these solutions range from scalable AI Innovator solutions to robust, validated services that facilitate easy adoption from the initial stages of AI integration to full-scale deployment.

“We are thrilled to launch new comprehensive enterprise AI solutions and services. In partnership with NVIDIA and our AI Innovators bringing pocket-to-cloud solutions, Lenovo is making AI accessible and practical for businesses of all sizes,” stated Sumir Bhatia, President, AP, Lenovo ISG. He emphasized that the goal is to empower businesses to leverage AI effectively, enhancing operational efficiency and sustainability across industries.

Kumar Mitra, Managing Director and Regional General Manager, CAP & ANZ, Lenovo ISG, highlighted the strategic focus on AI in the ASEAN+ region, “By helping businesses expedite their AI adoption journeys seamlessly, Lenovo is strategically addressing core business challenges and uncovering new opportunities with AI in the region.”

This expansion follows Lenovo’s announcement of a US$1 billion investment over three years to foster generative AI deployment and support the vision of “Smarter AI for All.”

Leading with innovation in AI deployment

The latest offerings from Lenovo include new AI Advisory Services, which build upon a company’s existing AI framework to create a bespoke AI roadmap, and the Lenovo AI Fast Start for NVIDIA NIMS, which aims to expedite the deployment of AI applications across various verticals.

Moreover, Lenovo’s portfolio boasts over 165 AI Innovator Solutions that enhance productivity and innovation in sectors like retail, hospitality, and healthcare. For instance, Lenovo and NVIDIA have introduced solutions like the Smart Virtual Assistant and Smart Manufacturing, which utilise advanced AI to improve customer service and workplace safety.

Advancing AI with next-gen cooling technologies

Lenovo is also setting new standards with its 6th generation Lenovo Neptune liquid cooling technology, which has been adopted for mainstream use in its latest server portfolios. This innovative cooling solution reduces power consumption by up to 40% compared to traditional air-cooled systems, and features new enhancements such as On-Memory cooling and GPU Cold Plate designs for high-performance computing and AI servers.

These advancements are part of Lenovo’s larger initiative to accommodate high-density workloads through AI, with significant partnerships like the one with Digital Realty, which integrates Lenovo Neptune technology in data centres globally.
