ST Telemedia Global Data Centres gains NVIDIA AI certification to boost AI capabilities

ST Telemedia Global Data Centres has achieved certification under the NVIDIA DGX-Ready Data Center programme, boosting AI capabilities in Southeast Asia.

ST Telemedia Global Data Centres, one of the world’s fastest-growing data centre colocation providers, has announced its certification under the NVIDIA DGX-Ready Data Center programme. The certification applies to two of its facilities in Southeast Asia – STT Singapore 6 and STT Bangkok 1 – making them the first in the company’s portfolio to meet NVIDIA’s standards for supporting high-performance AI workloads.

Strengthening AI capabilities with NVIDIA certification

The NVIDIA DGX platform is designed for enterprise AI applications, providing powerful computing capabilities for analytics, training, and inference. With advanced compute density, performance, and scalability, the system is built to support the entire AI lifecycle within a unified environment.

By achieving certification under the NVIDIA DGX-Ready Data Center programme, STT GDC can now provide its customers with state-of-the-art infrastructure optimised for AI workloads. This enables businesses to run their most demanding AI applications with confidence, leveraging a facility that meets the rigorous requirements for high-performance AI computing.

STT GDC is among the first Singapore-headquartered companies to receive this certification, reinforcing its commitment to supporting enterprises as they transition from the digital era to the intelligent era. The company’s AI-ready data centres are designed to handle the thermal demands of advanced AI infrastructure, incorporating cooling technologies such as immersion cooling and direct-to-chip cooling.

Enabling AI-driven innovation

Daniel Pointon, Group Chief Technology Officer of ST Telemedia Global Data Centres, highlighted the significance of the certification, stating, “The DGX-Ready Data Center certification helps ensure that our customers have access to the robust infrastructure and expertise required to deploy and scale high-performance AI workloads. Achieving this certification underscores our commitment to supporting the rapid growth of AI adoption across industries, helping our customers focus on innovation, accelerate their AI initiatives with confidence, and achieve a quicker time-to-value for their AI investments.”

Tony Paikeday, Senior Director of AI Systems at NVIDIA, also emphasised the role of AI-optimised infrastructure in business success. “As organisations embrace AI to enhance customer experiences and drive better business outcomes, robust environments that are optimised for AI infrastructure become critical,” he said. “STT GDC’s achievement of the NVIDIA DGX-Ready Data Center certification empowers enterprises in Southeast Asia to simplify their AI initiatives with optimised, high-performance infrastructure and facilities that enable the delivery of data-fuelled insights sooner.”

AI growth driving market transformation

AI continues to reshape industries worldwide, driving advancements in predictive analytics, automation, and business intelligence. Global investment in AI is projected to more than double by 2028, reaching US$632 billion. As AI transforms business models and competitive landscapes, companies investing in AI-driven strategies will gain a significant edge in the market.

By securing the NVIDIA DGX-Ready Data Center certification, STT GDC is positioning itself as a key player in enabling AI-driven growth. With optimised data centres tailored for AI workloads, the company is set to support enterprises looking to scale their AI initiatives efficiently and securely.
