Woojer launches Series 4 Vest and Strap to advance immersive haptic experiences

Woojer launches Series 4 Vest and Strap with sharper haptics, better comfort, and lower prices for gaming, music, and VR experiences.

Woojer has unveiled its fourth-generation Vest and Strap devices, designed to transform the way users experience gaming, music, and virtual reality. Building on the success of its previous generation, the new Series 4 lineup introduces more precise and powerful haptics, longer battery life, improved wireless connectivity, and a sleeker design — all at a lower price point.

Kfir Bar-Levav, CEO of Woojer, said the company wanted to retain the strengths of the previous generation while significantly improving performance and user experience. “We kept everything that made Gen 3 amazing — and then pushed the limits even further, rethinking every detail from the inside out,” he said.

Transforming sound into physical sensation

Woojer’s wearable haptic technology adds a tactile dimension to entertainment by converting sound into vibrotactile sensations that sync with audio effects. This means that in a video game, the force of an explosion can be felt as a physical shockwave, while the bassline of a song or the rumble of a film soundtrack can be experienced as real, physical movement. This added layer of immersion heightens realism and emotional impact in ways traditional audio cannot.

The Series 4 launch not only enhances performance but also improves comfort and accessibility. By lowering the retail price, Woojer aims to make premium haptic technology available to a wider audience, including members of the hard-of-hearing community who benefit from its ability to translate audio into tactile feedback.

Series 4 Vest: enhanced precision and design

The Vest 4 introduces significant upgrades, including improved haptic precision for sharper, more accurate sensations and an extended battery life of up to 10 hours. Wireless performance has been enhanced for smoother connectivity, while the new design is lighter, slimmer, and more flexible, offering a better fit across sizes ranging from S to 3XL.

Ergonomic improvements enhance comfort during extended use, and a redesigned control unit integrates Woojer’s signature LED circle, which can be customised through the Woojer app. The Vest 4 is available in two versions: the Core Black model priced at US$349, down from US$499 for the previous generation, and the White Made for Meta edition priced at US$369.

Series 4 Strap: personalisation and performance

The Strap 4 has also undergone a complete redesign. It offers sharper haptic feedback for gaming, music, and VR applications, up to 10 hours of battery life, and advanced wireless performance. A new customisation system lets users easily swap skins and style sets, allowing them to tailor the device’s appearance to their preferences.

The Strap 4 Core Black launches at US$129, reduced from US$179. Special editions themed around Call of Duty and Fortnite are also available, priced at US$149 compared to US$199 for previous versions.

Woojer’s devices have already gained a following among gamers, music fans, and VR users, with hundreds of thousands of customers worldwide. The new Series 4 products reinforce the company’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of immersive entertainment technology and expanding its accessibility.

Availability and pricing

The Woojer Series 4 Vest and Strap are now available for purchase on Woojer’s official website and at major retailers including Best Buy, Costco, and Sam’s Club. Prices start at US$349 for the Vest and US$129 for the Strap, with themed limited editions such as Fortnite, Call of Duty, and Made for Meta offered at an additional cost.
