XPENG Singapore celebrates 1,000th vehicle delivery milestone

XPENG Singapore marks its 1,000th vehicle delivery milestone and offers charging credits to celebrate its first anniversary in the market.

XPENG has reached a key milestone in Singapore with the delivery of its 1,000th electric vehicle, marking just over a year since the brand entered the local market in 2024. The achievement highlights the company’s rapid growth and the strong interest in its smart electric vehicles among Singaporean drivers.

The brand made its local debut in July 2024 with a pop-up showcase at UOB Plaza, featuring the XPENG G6. Within five months, it recorded 336 vehicle registrations, demonstrating its appeal among customers seeking advanced, sustainable, and premium mobility options. The momentum continued with the global debut of the XPENG X9 at the Singapore Motorshow 2025—the company’s first right-hand-drive multi-purpose vehicle (MPV)—which attracted strong public interest.

As XPENG marks the first anniversary of its Singapore showroom opening in November, the company’s latest milestone underscores its growing presence and influence in the local electric vehicle market. Globally, XPENG reported US$4.37 billion in sales in the first half of 2025, led by its strong performance in China and expansion across international markets.

Celebrating the milestone with customers

To commemorate the 1,000th delivery, XPENG hosted a private handover ceremony at its showroom for the milestone customer, Andy Lim, a 52-year-old Business Development Director. Joined by his family, Lim received the keys to his new XPENG G6, marking his first foray into electric mobility.

“It’s a change we’ve been wanting to make for a long time, especially with how quickly Singapore’s driving landscape is moving toward electrification,” Lim said. “We were considering the XPENG G6 alongside other models like the Tesla Model Y and BYD Sealion 7, but the decision became clear after the test drive. The XPENG G6 offered the best auto-parking system and met all our family’s needs for comfort, infotainment, and reliability.”

Cindy Tanaga, General Manager of Premium Automobiles, which distributes XPENG vehicles in Singapore, said the milestone represents more than a sales figure. “Reaching our 1,000th vehicle delivery in just over a year’s time is a proud moment for XPENG Singapore,” Tanaga said. “It reflects the trust and enthusiasm of our customers, and our continued commitment to bringing intelligent, technology-driven mobility solutions to Singapore’s roads.”

Commemorative offer for new buyers

To mark the occasion, XPENG Singapore is offering 10,000 kilometres’ worth of complimentary charging credits to the next 100 buyers who confirm their purchase of either the XPENG G6 or XPENG X9. The promotion aims to encourage more drivers to make the shift to electric vehicles, reinforcing XPENG’s support for sustainable mobility.

Since its debut, XPENG Singapore has achieved several key milestones, including its official showroom opening in November 2024, which became the company’s fourth brand experience store in Southeast Asia following Malaysia, Thailand, and Australia. Earlier this year, the XPENG X9’s global launch at the Singapore Motorshow 2025 further strengthened the brand’s position as a pioneer in intelligent electric mobility. The company also partnered with Charge+ in September 2025 to expand Singapore’s EV-charging infrastructure, enhancing accessibility for local drivers.

XPENG was founded in 2014 in Guangzhou, China, and has since grown into a global smart electric vehicle manufacturer. The company focuses on developing technologies such as autonomous driving, energy-efficient powertrains, and immersive infotainment systems. It operates from headquarters in Guangzhou and Amsterdam, with offices in Beijing, Shanghai, and Silicon Valley.

Premium Automobiles Pte Ltd, XPENG’s exclusive retail partner in Singapore, has been a trusted name in the automotive industry since 1999. The company provides end-to-end services, including pre-owned vehicle sales, aftersales support, and body and paint works, ensuring a seamless ownership experience for XPENG customers.
