Amity raises US$100 million to expand vertical AI models and grow its Singapore-based AI research centre.
Amity has raised US$100 million in a Series D funding round, positioning it as the largest generative AI-focused raise in Southeast Asia to date. The Thailand-founded company said the capital will be used to expand its AI capabilities, scale operations across Southeast Asia and Europe, and strengthen its AI Research & Application Center.

The round was led by EDBI, alongside Asia Partners and SMDV, with participation from CMLIM Capital and other investors. Amity also confirmed plans to expand its research presence in Singapore and is targeting an initial public offering in 2027.
Expansion anchored in research and acquisitions
A significant portion of the funding will go towards growing Amity’s AI Research & Application Center, which is headquartered in Singapore. The company plans to deepen its research and development work while building out go-to-market capabilities across key regions.
Amity is also pursuing acquisitions in Southeast Asia and Europe as part of its broader growth plan. The company describes its approach as “Build, Buy, Bridge”, combining internal AI development with mergers and acquisitions, then integrating these capabilities across its portfolio.
Korawad Chearavanont, Executive Chairman and Founder of Amity, said the company’s growth has been driven by a global footprint, with over 75% of EBITDA in 2025 coming from its European business units. He added that annualised revenue has exceeded US$100 million, growing more than tenfold since 2022.
Focus on vertical and agentic AI
Amity’s development roadmap centres on vertical AI models tailored to specific industries, particularly retail and telecommunications. The company said these models are designed to deliver measurable outcomes by understanding industry-specific contexts.
Alongside this, Amity is investing in agentic AI systems capable of executing business processes rather than limiting output to analysis or summarisation.
Touchapon Kraisingkorn, Chairman of the AI Research & Application Center, said the funding will support development across Amity’s existing ecosystem, which includes products such as Amity Accentix for voice AI, Tollring for communications analytics, Amity Solutions for agentic AI, EGG Digital for retail analytics, and Amity-Nordstar for unified communications.
The company described this approach as a “Research-to-Revenue” model, aimed at linking AI development directly to enterprise use cases.
Singapore positioned as a regional base
The decision to expand its research centre in Singapore reflects a broader effort to strengthen its presence in global enterprise markets. The company said Singapore will serve as a base for AI research, product development, and commercialisation activities.
EDBI, which led the round, stated that Amity’s expansion in Singapore will support its ability to meet global enterprise demand and contribute to wider AI adoption across industries.
Asia Partners and SMDV both pointed to Amity’s combination of enterprise software capabilities and AI development as a basis for scaling across Southeast Asia and Europe.
Path to IPO and next phase of growth
With this round, Amity’s total funding has reached US$160 million. The company said it is targeting more than US$200 million in annualised revenue in 2026 as it continues to expand its operations and product portfolio.
Group Chief Executive Officer Keng Teik Koay described the Series D as a transition into a growth and scale stage, with capital allocated towards expansion, acquisitions, and talent development.
Amity also confirmed it will continue acquiring software companies in its core markets to support the development and commercialisation of its AI offerings, as it prepares for a planned IPO in 2027.
