ASUS introduces new server-grade hardware powered by AMD EPYC 4004

ASUS unveils new servers and workstations powered by AMD EPYC 4004, offering affordable, high-performance computing solutions for SMBs.

ASUS announced its latest array of servers, workstations, and motherboards, all driven by the power of AMD EPYC 4004 processors. This new hardware delivers unprecedented performance and density, specifically engineered to meet the requirements of small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and hosted IT service providers.

The new lineup includes the ASUS Pro ER100A B6, a compact 1U rack server; the ASUS ExpertCenter Pro ET500A B6, a power-efficient workstation; and two robust motherboards, the ASUS Pro WS 665-ACE and ASUS Pro WS 600M-CL, each designed to cater to different business needs.

Enhanced performance with AMD EPYC 4004

The AMD EPYC 4004 series processors utilize the resilient Zen 4 core architecture, known for effortlessly managing compute-intensive tasks. These processors are designed for single-socket configurations and support dual-channel DDR5 memory and up to 28 lanes of PCIe 5.0 connectivity, offering efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The low-core-count options are tailored to provide affordable solutions without compromising server-grade reliability, helping to reduce overall costs and energy consumption for SMBs.

Diverse applications and improved efficiency

ASUS’s new offerings are crafted to support the practical needs of SMBs by enabling high-performance computing across various applications, from cloud services to content delivery. The hardware is optimally suited for running business software swiftly and reliably, due to its easy deployment and x86 compatibility, which simplifies the building of infrastructure without major software modifications.

These new systems enhance general computing tasks such as web serving, file and data sharing, email, and customer relationship management (CRM). They also excel in more demanding tasks such as coding, compiling, and editing 4K video, significantly enhancing productivity and creativity for users.

Streamlined management with ASUS Control Center Express

To further simplify IT operations, ASUS has incorporated these systems with the ASUS Control Center Express. This management software streamlines IT operations, enhances productivity, and ensures robust data protection and real-time IT monitoring, providing an all-encompassing solution for SMBs to manage their technological resources effectively.

Extensive new product offerings

Among the new products, the ASUS Pro ER100A B6 stands out as a user-friendly, compact server perfect for SMB data centres. The ASUS ExpertCenter Pro ET500A B6 combines immense processing power with high-speed data capabilities, making it a powerhouse for creative professionals. The ASUS Pro WS 665-ACE and ASUS Pro WS 600M-CL motherboards offer great flexibility and performance for various business environments, from cloud computing to edge computing applications.

With these advanced solutions, ASUS continues to support the growth and efficiency of small businesses, ensuring that their operations are equipped with the latest in high-performance, server-grade technology.
