ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has unveiled three groundbreaking gaming monitors at Gamescom 2024, revolutionising the gaming industry. The portfolio is led by the ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDP, the first 1440p monitor globally to achieve a 480 Hz refresh rate. This premium range also includes the 360 Hz ROG Strix OLED XG27ACDNG and the ROG Swift 360 Hz PG27AQNR, each designed to meet the diverse needs of gaming enthusiasts.

The ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDP features an anti-glare WOLED panel, and the ROG Strix OLED XG27ACDNG is equipped with a 360 Hz QHD QD-OLED panel that also includes anti-reflection properties. Both OLED monitors incorporate ASUS Extreme Low Motion Blur and OLED Anti-Flicker technologies, ensuring top-notch visual fidelity. The ROG Swift 360 Hz PG27AQNR completes the set with a QHD Ultrafast IPS panel and G-SYNC Pulsar, tailored for esports and competitive gaming.

Innovative features and refined design

ASUS has further enhanced the functionality and durability of these monitors. The OLED models come with innovative OLED Care+ features, such as Taskbar Detection and Global Dimming Control, which can be adjusted through the ASUS DisplayWidget Center software. This suite allows gamers to tweak their visual settings for the best gaming experience.

The Swift OLED PG27AQDP delivers ultra-smooth visuals and is outfitted with an AI Assistant that includes capabilities like AI Visual and MOBA Map Helper, designed to enrich gaming experiences. Its RWGB subpixel layout enhances text clarity, positioning it as the go-to monitor for gamers who demand both performance and clear visuals.

Pricing and availability details

The 26.5-inch Swift OLED PG27AQDP is set at a manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of US$999 and offers a quick 0.03 ms response time, setting a new standard for gaming monitors. The ROG Strix OLED XG27ACDNG, with its updated heatsink for better heat dissipation, is expected to hit the shelves in early Q4, 2024. The ROG Swift 360 Hz PG27AQNR, designed for high-level competitive gaming, will also become available in Q4, 2024.
