ASUS launches Radeon RX 9060 XT graphics cards for gamers and creators

ASUS introduces four Radeon RX 9060 XT graphics cards for TUF Gaming, Prime, and Dual series, designed for compact builds and smooth performance.

ASUS has introduced four new AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT graphics cards, expanding its TUF Gaming, Prime, and Dual series. The new cards are built on AMD’s RDNA 4 architecture and come equipped with support for FidelityFX Super Resolution 4 (FSR 4), DisplayPort 2.1a, and HDMI 2.1b. Designed for gamers and creative users, these cards offer compact dimensions, improved cooling, and versatile performance for a variety of PC builds.

Designed for compact gaming systems

All four graphics cards – spanning the TUF Gaming, Prime, and Dual product lines – are designed with a space-saving 2.5-slot profile and do not exceed 304mm in length, making them suitable for small form factor PCs. Each model includes two DisplayPort 2.1a outputs and one HDMI 2.1b port, offering high bandwidth for smooth high-resolution gaming.

ASUS has incorporated its Axial-tech fan design across all variants, featuring longer blades for improved airflow, dual-ball fan bearings for longevity, and 0dB technology for silent operation during low loads. A Dual BIOS switch allows users to toggle between high-performance and quieter fan profiles with a simple restart, offering more control over thermals and noise levels.

TUF Gaming offers robust durability and performance

The TUF Gaming Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB OC Edition is the flagship of the series, featuring 16GB of video memory to support modern games and high-resolution rendering. It is built with military-grade components to ensure reliability and long-term durability. ASUS has further enhanced its resilience by applying a special PCB coating to protect against dust and moisture, while GPU Guard technology helps prevent physical damage.

Manufactured with ASUS Auto-Extreme technology, this card is built for consistent performance and features a rugged design that reflects its robust capabilities. A subtle Aura Sync RGB lighting element allows for a touch of personalisation inside the PC case.

Prime series offers balanced performance

ASUS has launched two new Prime Radeon RX 9060 XT cards: an 8GB and a 16GB OC Edition. These options are targeted at users seeking reliable performance at different budget levels. The 8GB version is aimed at casual gamers, while the 16GB edition suits those who want to game at higher resolutions or run memory-intensive applications like 3D rendering.

Both Prime cards retain the Axial-tech fans, Dual BIOS switch, and compact 2.5-slot design seen in the TUF Gaming and Dual lines. Their design features a more streamlined aesthetic, with curved lines for a modern visual appeal.

Dual series suits ultra-compact builds

The smallest of the new lineup, the ASUS Dual Radeon RX 9060 XT 8GB, measures just 202mm in length, making it ideal for ultra-compact PC builds. Despite its size, it still includes two Axial-tech fans and benefits from the same 0dB technology and Dual BIOS support found in the larger models.

This card stands out with a black-and-white finish, accented by retro-futuristic elements that evoke classic sci-fi styling, making it a stylish addition to smaller gaming setups.

Software and PSU support complete the package

All new Radeon RX 9060 XT models are compatible with ASUS GPU Tweak III software. This utility allows users to monitor performance metrics and make real-time adjustments to fan curves or overclocking settings. The newly added OSD Wizard enhances the on-screen display customisation experience.

ASUS has also issued PSU recommendations for optimal compatibility. The ASUS Prime 750W Gold PSU is suited for the Prime and Dual graphics cards, offering 80 Plus Gold certification, dual-ball fan bearings, and an eight-year warranty. For the TUF Gaming Radeon RX 9060 XT, ASUS recommends the TUF Gaming 750W Gold PSU, which includes military-grade components and a 10-year warranty to match the card’s high durability standards.
