ASUS Republic of Gamers launches Gear to the Extreme global event

ASUS ROG announces Gear to the Extreme event, a global contest to showcase gaming setups with esports peripherals and US$10,000 in prizes.

ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has unveiled its latest initiative, the Gear to the Extreme event, inviting gamers worldwide to elevate their gaming setups with cutting-edge peripherals. Running from 26 November to 31 December 2024, the contest encourages participants to envision and showcase their ideal extreme gaming rigs, featuring ROG’s premium esports equipment.

Designed for gamers who aim to push boundaries, the event spotlights ROG’s renowned gaming hardware, including the ROG Azoth Extreme 75% gaming keyboard, ROG Harpe Ace Extreme carbon-fibre wireless gaming mouse, ROG Falchion Ace HFX 65% analogue gaming keyboard, and the ROG Harpe Ace Mini ultralight 49-gram esports gaming mouse.

Esports pros influence ROG’s gaming innovations

ROG continues to redefine gaming excellence by collaborating with world-class esports professionals. The four featured models represent ROG’s commitment to empowering gamers with top-tier performance tools. By integrating feedback from elite players, these peripherals aim to provide users with a competitive edge.

Gamers worldwide now have access to these cutting-edge peripherals, available at stores globally. To participate in the Gear to the Extreme contest, entrants simply need to share a photo of their ROG-enhanced gaming setup on Instagram, including at least one of the featured models. Winners will receive prizes valued at over US$10,000.

For those who haven’t experienced ROG’s latest innovations, Instagram filters allow users to preview the Azoth Extreme, Harpe Ace Extreme, Falchion Ace HFX, and Harpe Ace Mini in a virtual setup. Participants can create an Instagram story featuring their dream gaming rig and tag friends, offering a chance to turn their fantasy into reality.

ROG x NRG Frag Race showcases premier esports gear

ROG’s gaming peripherals, developed with input from top esports athletes, are trusted by professionals worldwide. The company collaborates with esports champions such as VALORANT pro Max “Demon1” Mazanov, who serves as the ROG Peripherals Ambassador, and Rahul “curry” Nemani, another VALORANT pro and streamer. Reflecting on his partnership with ROG, Nemani said, “ROG makes amazing strides in the gaming industry to provide the kinds of gear that the best gamers both demand and need – and ROG gear is always my first choice. It’s been a pleasure to work with the ROG team.”

ROG also partners with renowned esports organisations like NRG Esports, whose teams compete in titles such as VALORANT, Counter-Strike 2, and Apex Legends.
