BenQ’s MA270S puts 5K Mac-focused colour work at the centre of its new flagship display range
BenQ launches the 5K MA270S and previews the MA320UG, targeting Mac users with sharper detail, colour consistency, and workflow tools.
BenQ has introduced two new flagship monitors under its MA Series, with the MA270S arriving first and the MA320UG set to follow later this year. The launch centres on Mac users, particularly creators who want closer colour consistency, sharper detail, and a workflow that fits more naturally into Apple-based setups.

The MA270S is the lead product in that push. It combines a 27-inch 5K panel with Mac-tuned colour performance, while the MA320UG takes a different route for video-led work, pairing 4K resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate. Together, the two models give the new flagship tier a clearer split between fine-detail creative work and smoother motion-focused production.
A 5K panel aimed at designers and editors
The MA270S is positioned at users who work with detailed visual assets and need higher pixel density than a standard 4K display can offer. BenQ says the monitor delivers 5K resolution at 5120 x 2880 with 218 ppi, a specification aimed at designers and editors handling fine detail on a day-to-day basis.
BenQ is also putting colour consistency at the core of the MA270S pitch. The display covers 99% of the P3 colour gamut and carries a 2000:1 contrast ratio, with the company framing it as a monitor built to better match the Mac visual experience and reduce the colour mismatch issues that can appear on standard displays.
Peter Huang, President of BenQ Corporation, described the MA Series as designed specifically for Mac users, “something that doesn’t just connect, but enhances.” He added that the monitors aim to bring “true Mac colours to life with smoother motion and smarter workflows,” supporting more flexible creative work.
That positioning is distinct from the MA320UG, which is due in Q2 later this year. Instead of 5K sharpness, that model combines 4K resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate, alongside 98% P3 coverage and a 2000:1 contrast ratio. BenQ is targeting content creators and multimedia artists who place more weight on motion handling and responsiveness in video-based work.
Built around mixed-device creative setups
The broader value of the new flagship models lies in how they fit into multi-device Mac environments. Both the MA270S and MA320UG support Thunderbolt 4 connectivity with 96W and 15W power delivery, allowing daisy-chaining and charging across connected devices.
BenQ has also included Smart KVM support, which allows users to switch between two systems with a single keyboard and mouse. The company is pitching this for hybrid setups that mix devices such as MacBook Pro, Mac mini, and Mac Studio, alongside the latest MacBook Air M5 and MacBook Pro configurations.
This workflow angle continues in software. BenQ says the MA Series works with Display Pilot 2, which supports automatic colour sync, workspace management, and control across multiple systems. The aim is to make the monitor behave as part of a wider Mac-based workspace rather than as a standalone panel with simple compatibility.
Other hardware details include Nano Gloss panels designed to control reflections while maintaining contrast, and 150mm adjustable stands intended to support longer working sessions more comfortably.
Broader MA Series rollout and Singapore pricing
BenQ is extending the same Mac-oriented positioning across the wider MA Series. For everyday Mac users, the company is also offering MA270U and MA320U with Nano Matte Panels, alongside MA270UP and MA320UP with Nano Gloss Panels.
For the current launch, the MA270S officially went on sale on 31 March 2026. It is priced at S$1,699, with an early bird price of S$1,499, a 12% discount, available through BenQ Official Store on Shopee and Lazada from 31 March 2026, 8:00 PM to 17 April 2026.
