Pearl Abyss announced today that its latest class, the pirate Corsair, is now available for Awakening in Black Desert SEA. Starting today, Adventurers can play Corsair with a new set of skills that utilize a brand new weapon.

The awakened Corsair is captain of the Slippery Scallywags, a crew of friendly pirate Otters that will assist Adventurers in combat by firing their cannons at enemies while awakened Corsair performs her powerful new skills. She can now strategically wield her new weapon Patraca as either a sword for melee combat or as a harpoon to attack from afar.

Corsair’s main Awakening skills enable her to attack enemies in various ways, such as slicing foes as she comes down from the air, firing her harpoon into enemies then reeling enemies back to engulf them in a mist, and giving orders to the Scallywags to launch their ship’s massive anchor at opponents.

Moreover, special in-game events are also available to celebrate the graduation of the Summer Season. When Adventurers complete all these quests, they can choose whether to graduate from the Season Server, a special server designed for the fast growth of characters. Graduates will receive rewards including a PEN (V) Capotia Necklace.

Last but not least, a special event will also take place to help support the Earth, which has been suffering from numerous natural disasters including the recent wildfires in Turkey. Until August 25, Adventurers can complete a special quest by giving Small Saplings to a Seed Vendor and thereby participate in the tree sapling donations that the Black Desert team intend to place after this event.
