Deel enhances global HR platform with AI, flexible pay, and smarter hiring tools

Deel adds AI-powered tools, flexible pay options, and smarter global hiring features to streamline HR and payroll for international teams.

Deel has unveiled its latest suite of product upgrades as part of its quarterly showcase, The Deel Drop: Summer Edition, introducing over 500 enhancements across its global payroll and HR platform. The updates are designed to streamline onboarding, compensation, payroll, and compliance for international teams, with built-in artificial intelligence now embedded throughout the platform.

These additions aim to simplify how companies manage distributed teams by anticipating user needs, enabling smarter decision-making, and reducing operational friction. The enhancements build on Deel’s vision to become the infrastructure layer for modern workforce management.

AI and finance tools improve payroll and user experience

One of the key highlights is the introduction of Anytime Pay, described as the world’s first truly global on-demand salary solution. Eligible employees hired through Deel’s Employer of Record (EOR) service can now instantly access a portion of their earned salary from the Deel dashboard without requiring approvals or impacting payroll processes. This feature is available with no fees.

Deel has also rolled out Expense Cards, available in both virtual and physical formats across more than 130 countries. These give EOR employees access to company funds while allowing employers to maintain strict control over spending.

Other finance-related updates include a self-serve payroll calendar that allows administrators to adjust pay cycles directly within the platform, and redesigned payslips that offer employees a clearer, more visual breakdown of their earnings.

New tools support global hiring and workforce planning

To ease the complexities of cross-border hiring, Deel introduced an AI-powered Visa Eligibility Tool that helps companies instantly assess work permit options across over 50 countries. This reduces the time spent navigating immigration requirements. Additionally, the platform now offers Global Hiring Insights, providing ranked country recommendations based on factors such as cost, timezone overlap, and regulatory complexity.

On the workforce planning front, Deel now allows businesses to simulate organisational growth and hiring scenarios based on budget or geography. Its new Scenario Planning and Salary Planning features let teams conduct compliant, global compensation reviews with built-in controls, removing the need for spreadsheets and manual tracking.

AI improves support and compliance at scale

To make HR operations more self-sufficient, Deel has expanded its AI-driven support capabilities. The new Knowledge Hub offers real-time, embedded guidance for users across 150 countries. Meanwhile, Deel AI Walkthroughs—more than 200 interactive, in-product guides—help users complete complex tasks with contextual assistance.

A new Support Inbox feature also consolidates communications across HR, finance, and employees, giving businesses a unified view of their support cases and helping resolve issues more efficiently.

“Deel is evolving into the infrastructure layer for global workforce operations,” said Alex Bouaziz, Co-Founder and CEO of Deel. “This latest product drop was all about listening to customers and removing friction, whether you’re planning a hire in Brazil, running compensation reviews in Berlin, or onboarding a contractor in Nairobi, Deel understands what you need next. We’re building the system of record for modern teams.”

These updates come on the heels of Deel’s “Big Deel” launch in April. The company recently announced a US$1 billion annual revenue run rate and now serves over 35,000 businesses globally, processing more than US$11 billion in payroll annually.
