eight Telecom expands beyond mobile with 10Gbps home internet service

eight Telecom launches 10Gbps home broadband in Singapore, expanding beyond mobile with fast, reliable, and affordable connectivity.

eight Telecom, powered by StarHub, has opened registration of interest for its new home internet service, marking a major step in its move beyond mobile into fixed broadband. The new eight Home Internet offers speeds of up to 10Gbps, combining high performance, reliability, and value for users seeking seamless connectivity at home.

The launch positions eight as a comprehensive connectivity provider, ensuring customers remain connected wherever they are—whether on the move or at home. The company aims to deliver simple, dependable, and fast internet access designed around what Singaporeans value most: speed, simplicity, and transparency.

Designed for speed and reliability

Singapore’s demand for fast and reliable connectivity continues to grow, with consumers expecting services that work smoothly and without unnecessary complexity. eight Home Internet was developed with these expectations in mind, offering a straightforward and fair service that prioritises customer experience.

The brand’s approach focuses on affordability without compromising quality. Every eight Home Internet connection runs on StarHub’s network, providing the same level of performance and trust that Singaporeans have long relied on. The company emphasises that lower prices are achieved through smarter operations, not by reducing quality or service.

A new approach to service and flexibility

eight Home Internet introduces a Bring Your Own Router (BYOR) model, allowing customers to use their existing routers or purchase one through eight’s authorised installers. This option promotes flexibility and sustainability, helping households avoid unnecessary equipment costs and waste.

To enhance customer satisfaction, eight has also introduced its Service Guarantee, a commitment to ongoing support beyond installation. The guarantee includes a 28-day priority support hotline, twice-yearly performance check-ins to ensure consistent speed, and an “eight Moment” welcome gift at installation. These initiatives reflect eight’s focus on delivering lasting value and dependable service to every customer.

Priced at S$28.80 per month, eight Home Internet provides 10Gbps speed with no hidden charges or compulsory add-ons, offering fast and straightforward connectivity at a competitive rate.

Customers who already subscribe to eight’s 5G mobile plans can receive up to 18% off their broadband subscription, providing additional savings for households that stay connected through both mobile and home services.

The introduction of eight Home Internet marks the brand’s continued growth as a digital-first provider, uniting mobile and broadband under one ecosystem designed for better, faster, and simpler connections.
