FIFAe partners with Lenovo to power FIFAe Finals 2025 in Riyadh

FIFAe partners with Lenovo to power the FIFAe Finals 2025 in Riyadh, featuring top esports teams competing on Legion gaming devices.

FIFAe has confirmed that Lenovo’s Legion gaming technology will power its flagship event, the FIFAe Finals 2025, taking place from 10 to 19 December in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The partnership will see the world’s top national esports teams competing on Lenovo’s high-performance devices across multiple tournaments.

Lenovo Legion at the heart of competition

As part of the agreement, Lenovo’s Legion Tower 7i desktops, monitors, peripherals, and accessories will be deployed to support players, presenters, and organisers. These devices are designed to deliver reliable, immersive, and competitive gaming performance, ensuring integrity and consistency across all tournament environments.

The collaboration reflects Lenovo’s wider support of FIFA events, which includes providing technology and infrastructure for the FIFA Club World Cup 2025, the FIFA World Cup 2026, and the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027. In addition to hardware, Lenovo is contributing AI-powered solutions, smart devices, and data centre services that enhance broadcasting, operations, and fan engagement at a global scale.

Expanding the reach of football esports

The FIFAe Finals 2025 will host three major tournaments: the FIFAe World Cup featuring Rocket League, the FIFAe World Cup featuring eFootball on console, and the FIFAe World Cup featuring eFootball on mobile. Each competition will bring together the best-performing national teams from across the world to compete for world titles in their respective disciplines.

This year’s event builds on the success of the 2024 season, which became the most-watched sports simulation event of the year by peak viewership. FIFAe has continued to expand its global esports ecosystem, and the 2025 edition will introduce an extended open qualification process. This will give more FIFA Member Associations than ever before the opportunity to compete at the highest level.

Driving the future of esports

The partnership underscores the growing role of technology in shaping the future of competitive gaming. FIFAe aims to provide a platform where national teams and players can perform at their best, while Lenovo continues to position its Legion range as a trusted choice for elite esports events.

With Riyadh set to host one of the largest football esports gatherings in history, the FIFAe Finals 2025 mark another milestone in the sport’s evolution, combining competitive intensity with cutting-edge technology.
