GameSir launches G7 Pro Dragon’s Dogma 2 Edition controller
GameSir releases G7 Pro Dragon’s Dogma 2 Edition with tri-mode connectivity and themed design for Xbox, PC, and Android.
GameSir has unveiled the G7 Pro Dragon’s Dogma 2 Edition, blending high-end competitive hardware with a custom aesthetic inspired by CAPCOM’s sprawling action RPG. While the core internals remain as robust as the standard G7 Pro, this themed edition introduces a few “firsts” for the Xbox-licensed market.

Next-Gen Precision with TMR Technology
At the heart of the controller is GameSir’s Mag-Res TMR (Tunnel Magneto-Resistance) stick technology. By combining the longevity of Hall Effect designs with the traditional responsiveness of potentiometers, these sticks virtually eliminate drift while offering a smoother, more precise feel. This makes it the first Xbox-licensed controller to feature TMR tech, providing a significant edge for the precise combat timing required in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
Versatile Connectivity and Tactile Control
Built for the multi-platform gamer, the G7 Pro offers “tri-mode” connectivity: wired for Xbox, 2.4G wireless for PC, and Bluetooth for Android. For those on PC, a 1000 Hz polling rate ensures near-zero latency. The tactile experience is further heightened by optical Micro Switch ABXY buttons and a mechanical D-pad, offering a clicky, responsive feedback that mimics high-end gaming mice.
Customisation Beyond the Aesthetic
While the three-part magnetic faceplate features striking themed artwork, the customization goes deeper. The controller includes four programmable macro buttons—two mini bumpers and two lockable back buttons—allowing players to map complex skill shortcuts. This modularity extends to the physical layout, with two interchangeable D-pad options included in the box.
Everything in the Box
Priced at US$89.99 (£99.99), the package is a complete kit for enthusiasts. It includes a 1200 mAh battery paired with a Smart Auto Start-Stop Charging Station that doubles as a receiver dock. Users can further fine-tune their experience through the GameSir Nexus 2.0 software, adjusting everything from stick sensitivity to gyroscope-to-mouse mapping.
