Garmin introduces Instinct Crossover with AMOLED displays

[output_post_excerpt]

Garmin has expanded its hybrid smartwatch range in Singapore with the launch of the Instinct Crossover AMOLED. The new series combines rugged durability with enhanced everyday style, now featuring vivid AMOLED screens paired with illuminated analogue watch hands for improved readability in any light.

Enhanced design and visibility

The Instinct Crossover AMOLED pairs mechanical watch hands with a bright display that shows health, fitness, and activity data in fine detail. A new scratch-resistant sapphire lens protects the screen, while Super-LumiNova coating ensures the hands remain visible in low-light conditions. The hands can also dynamically move aside when users need an unobstructed view of on-screen information such as notifications or activity tracking.

In addition, the smartwatch includes a dimmable LED flashlight for greater visibility at night or in dark environments. Garmin has equipped the watch with its RevoDrive technology, which automatically recalibrates the hands if they are knocked out of alignment during impact. Battery performance has also been optimised, with the watch lasting up to 14 days in smartwatch mode and 18 days in battery saver mode.

“From a day on the hiking trail to a night on the town, Instinct Crossover AMOLED offers the best of both worlds. With traditional analogue hands highlighted on an even brighter display, adventurers can achieve a sophisticated look without sacrificing the durability they need when pursuing their passions,” said Scoppen Lin, Assistant General Manager, Garmin Asia.

Features for outdoor adventures

The Instinct Crossover AMOLED is built to MIL-STD-810 standards for shock and thermal resistance, with a dual-layered metal bezel for added strength. It also comes with multi-band GPS supported by SatIQ technology, designed to provide reliable navigation in difficult conditions.

For users looking to track their wellbeing in more detail, the updated Garmin Connect app now includes lifestyle logging. This feature allows users to see how choices such as caffeine or alcohol intake affect sleep, stress levels, and heart rate variability.

Tactical edition for specialised use

Garmin has also introduced the Instinct Crossover AMOLED – Tactical Edition. Aimed at users who require mission-ready functions, it includes features such as an applied ballistics solver, stealth mode, and compatibility with night-vision goggles.

The Instinct Crossover AMOLED will be available in Singapore from 17 October 2025. Priced at S$799, it comes in two colour options: charcoal and bronze/sunburst. The Tactical Edition, available in black, will retail for S$949.

Garmin said the launch builds on its commitment to designing wearables that blend innovation with durability, helping people of all activity levels lead healthier and more active lives.
