Tech Week Singapore 2025 to highlight AI’s role in global collaboration

[output_post_excerpt]

CloserStill Media has announced the full line-up and highlights for Tech Week Singapore 2025, which will return to the Sands Expo & Convention Centre from 8–9 October. This year’s theme, “Connected Futures, Boundless Impact,” will showcase how artificial intelligence is driving cross-industry collaboration across sectors such as cloud computing, AI infrastructure, cybersecurity, digital marketing, and e-commerce.

Government and industry leaders at the opening ceremony

Mr Tan Kiat How, Singapore’s Senior Minister of State for Digital Development and Information, will officiate the opening ceremony as Guest of Honour. He will be joined by senior diplomats, ambassadors, and representatives from chambers of commerce and industry associations. Following the ceremony, an exclusive tour will be conducted for VIPs, offering a first-hand look at the latest innovations and serving as a platform for networking and strategic dialogue. The tour aims to highlight Singapore’s position as a hub for digital innovation and international collaboration.

Speakers and programme highlights

The event will feature more than 550 regional and global speakers from organisations including The Coca-Cola Company, OpenAI, Google Cloud, Microsoft, Oracle, the World Trade Organisation, the UK Government, and the Government of Estonia. Through keynote speeches, panels, and specialised theatres, industry experts will present insights into AI, digital transformation, and emerging technologies.

“AI is already reshaping industries like finance, aviation, manufacturing, and electronics – helping businesses cut through complexity, speed up decisions, and bring new ideas to market,” said Andy Brown, Head of Go-to-Market for APAC at OpenAI. “With our latest model, GPT-5, we’re seeing that progress accelerate in very tangible ways. Tech Week Singapore is a compelling event to share these lessons, collaborate with industry leaders, and explore how we can push AI even further to deliver real-world value for organisations and communities.”

New launches and announcements

The inaugural Tech Night 2025 will see the official unveiling of Tech Week Shanghai 2026, expanding the series’ regional footprint and setting the stage for deeper discussions on data ecosystems and regulatory compliance. The evening event will also provide opportunities for attendees to engage directly with C-suite executives and global tech leaders.

Another major announcement will be the launch of the Asia Information Sharing and Analysis Center (Asia-ISAC). Developed in response to rising cyber threats, Asia-ISAC will serve as the first cross-industry, non-profit hub in the region, designed to help organisations strengthen cyber resilience. According to IBM’s 2025 X-Force Threat Intelligence Index, APAC accounted for 34 per cent of all cyberattacks investigated in 2024, underscoring the urgency of collective action.

ECOLAB will also reveal new data centre technology during the exhibition, witnessed by key government and industry representatives.

Expanded exhibitions and country pavilions

Tech Week Singapore 2025 will bring together six co-located shows: Cloud & AI Infrastructure Asia, DevOps Live, Cyber Security World Asia, Data Centre World Asia, Big Data & AI World Asia, and eCommerce Expo | DMEXCO Asia. These events will host workshops, lectures, and CPD-accredited sessions, offering attendees opportunities for professional development alongside industry insights. Notably, Cloud Expo Asia has been rebranded as Cloud & AI Infrastructure Asia to reflect the growing integration of AI with cloud technologies, while Data Centre World Asia will expand its exhibition space by 75 per cent, cementing its position as the world’s largest data centre event.

In addition, nine country pavilions will feature this year, up from six in 2024. These will include delegations from Singapore, Zhejiang, Shaanxi, Jiangsu, Taiwan, Pakistan, the Cooperation Council of the Arab States of the Gulf, and Australia, providing a global platform for showcasing innovation.

Andy Kiwanuka, Managing Director for Asia Pacific at CloserStill Media, said: “With this year’s theme of ‘Connected Futures, Boundless Impact’ at Tech Week Singapore 2025, we are bringing together technology leaders from diverse industries to showcase how AI convergence can unlock innovation and growth across sectors. The launch of Tech Week Shanghai marks an important milestone and augments our vision to spark more conversations on how technology can drive collaboration, innovation, and growth across the region.”

The event is expected to welcome over 26,000 senior IT leaders, more than 550 global exhibitors, and hundreds of speakers from across the world.
