Huawei launches the MatePad 11.5”S with an innovative PaperMatte display

Discover the Huawei MatePad 11.5”S in Singapore with its innovative PaperMatte display for a paper-like experience.

Huawei is proud to introduce the MatePad 11.5”S, a cutting-edge tablet with a revolutionary PaperMatte display. With its sleek design and powerful performance, this innovative feature makes the MatePad 11.5 “S a must-have for technology enthusiasts. It is now available in Singapore.

What is a PaperMatte display?

The MatePad 11.5 “S features a game-changing PaperMatte display. With its nano-level anti-glare etching, this advanced technology eliminates 97% of light interference, offering a paper-like visual experience. Imagine a screen that reduces reflectivity by 60%, providing a comfortable reading, writing, drawing, and painting experience. This is the power of the MatePad 11.5 “S.

The 11.5-inch TFT LCD is multi-touch enabled and boasts a 2800 x 1840 pixels resolution with a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. The MatePad 11.5”S is equipped with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage and runs on HarmonyOS 4.2. It also features an 8800mAh battery and quad speakers with Histen 9.0 technology, promising high-quality, immersive sound.

Design and functionality

At just 6.2mm thick and weighing 510g, the MatePad 11.5”S is designed for comfort and ease of use. The PaperMatte display offers a tactile, paper-like experience for reading, writing, drawing, and painting. When paired with the Huawei M-Pencil (3rd generation), users can enjoy the sensation of writing on actual paper, thanks to precise tactile feedback and sound.

The Huawei M-Pencil (3rd generation) incorporates NearLink technology and offers over 10,000 pressure sensing levels. This heightened sensitivity ensures precise line control and smoother strokes, enhancing your digital creations.

NearLink technology supports short-range wireless connections similar to Bluetooth but with lower power consumption, higher transfer speeds, shorter delays, and more network connections.

Accessories and applications

In addition to the M-Pencil, Huawei offers the Smart Magnetic Keyboard, also powered by NearLink. This keyboard transforms the MatePad 11.5”S into a versatile device suitable for laptop, split, or studio modes.

To complement the PaperMatte display and the M-Pencil, Huawei has introduced the GoPaint App. This app features interactive tutorials, customisable brushes, and intuitive gesture controls, catering to artistic creativity.

The enhanced Huawei Notes app brings new functionalities like home screen integration, audio capture alongside notes, and quick gesture controls. This makes it easy to jot down notes and capture audio simultaneously, making it perfect for use in lecture halls or boardrooms.

Starting June 18, 2024, you can pre-order the Huawei MatePad 11.5”S for S$698.

Pre-orders come with up to S$426 worth of freebies, including a Huawei Smart Magnetic Keyboard (worth S$198), a Huawei M-Pencil (3rd Generation) (worth S$98), and a pair of Huawei FreeBuds 5i (worth S$130). These offers are available while stocks last, so take advantage of these deals quickly.
