LG Electronics supports Singapore’s arts scene bringing art to life on its OLED TVs

OLED’s self-emissive display technology optimizes picture quality with vibrant, realistic colours

LG Electronics (LG) Singapore collaborated with UltraSuperNew Gallery for FUTURE SPACE – Singapore’s first NFT art gallery showcase. It brought art to life with its 2021’s OLED G1 TVs, transporting visitors into a metaverse with immersive sights and sounds, including an exhibition of digital artwork curated by Crypto Art Week Asia, and displayed on the OLED G1 TVs.

Recognised for its ultra-thin form factor, LG’s top-of-class OLED TV model, the G1 series is stunningly sleek at only 20mm thin for its 65-inch model, flushing seamlessly to the wall akin to a piece of art in the gallery.

With its self-lit pixels that illuminate individually to produce the deepest blacks and the richness of colours, the OLED panels offer infinite contrast for an exceptional viewing experience. Regardless of the viewing angle, the OLED G1 TVs brings out the best of every piece of artwork.

At the showcase, visitors soaked in an impressive kaleidoscope of colours on the digital art pieces, thanks to the new evo OLED panel technology on the G1, which delivers better luminosity, higher brightness and punchy images with amazing clarity, detail and realism as they move around the exhibition. With 100 percent colour fidelity, colours appear vivid on-screen, ensuring the art piece’s accurate colour reproduction.

Seeing art up close on the OLED panels are also friendly on the eyes as LG OLED TVs employ the world’s first Eyesafe-certified TV panels that meet the low blue light emission requirement of Eyesafe, a U.S.-based health standards agency. The OLED TVs are also certified with blue light recognition from TÜV Rheinland and flicker-free certification from Underwriters Laboratories, assuring visitors a comfortable viewing experience.
