Most businesses have been badly affected by new laws and lifestyle changes caused by COVID-19, and different established businesses have been trying their best to help where they can. Razer is determined to help business partners during this COVID-19 pandemic, and it has committed US$50 million through the rest of the year.

“There are many growing implications with COVID-19 on the global economy, and it is affecting everyone from all walks of life,” Min-Liang Tan, Razer CEO said. He further added, “We see the best way for us to do our part is to support business partners starting with our ecosystem.”

Three arms of Razer, Razer Fintech, Razer Gold, and zVentures will split the committed funds, and as part of this initiative, Razer will provide access to its software, hardware, and services.

Razer Gold will support Razer’s content through cash flow relief measures and marketing contributions, plus it will also look into potential investment opportunities among the content partners.

On the other hand, Razer Fintech, which is a digital payment network operating in Southeast Asia, will collaborate with the Singapore Fintech Association so as to address the best way to lower business costs, facilitate sales, save fintech jobs, and stimulate funding for fintech companies.

Finally, zVentures, Razer’s corporate arm, will have its focus on companies that are making technology to fight COVID-19 and support people who are in need due to this pandemic.
