ASUS launches four new X570 motherboards

ROG, Strix, TUF Gaming and ProArt motherboards feature upgraded connectivity, passive chipset cooling and exclusive overclocking features

ASUS today announced the addition of the ROG Crosshair VIII Extreme, ROG Strix X570-E Gaming WiFi II, TUF Gaming X570‑Pro WiFi II and ProArt X570-Creator WiFi motherboards to its X570 range. The ROG Crosshair VIII Extreme packs the latest ROG innovations into an EATX form factor that’s perfect for custom gaming PCs or overclocking rigs. The ROG Strix X570-E Gaming WiFi II distills the most essential ROG features into a stylish platform for discerning gamers and enthusiasts. The balanced TUF Gaming X570-Pro WiFi II is poised to perform in speedy, stealthy gaming builds. And the ProArt X570-Creator WiFi is ready for content creators, developers, and other professionals who need unquestionable stability and broad connectivity for their work.

These new models feature passive chipset cooling, improved power performance and more capable networking hardware. Some models also include Thunderbolt 4 connectivity and overclocking features to keep PC DIY enthusiasts, gamers, and system integrators at the forefront of innovation.

The ROG Crosshair VIII Extreme and ROG Strix X570-E Gaming WiFi II offer the new ASUS-exclusive Dynamic OC Switcher for those looking to get the most out of the AMD Ryzen CPU under all workloads. Until now, manually overclocking a Ryzen CPU meant maximizing all-core clock speeds at the expense of the high light-load boost clocks that are so important for general system responsiveness.

Dynamic OC Switcher lets overclockers have the best of both worlds. When this feature is enabled, compatible motherboards will automatically switch between pushing light-load clocks to the limit with AMD Precision Boost Overdrive and multi-core clocks to the max with a user’s chosen manual overclock settings. Dynamic OC Switcher is also available on the previously introduced ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero motherboard.

The inclusion of BIOS FlashBack enables firmware updates with a USB stick even when a CPU or memory isn’t installed. In addition, ASUS Q-Fan software allows users to tweak fan curves for the best balance of noise and airflow. Cooling is further aided by dedicated AIO headers and hybrid fan headers that can detect and work with both DC and PWM fans. The motherboards provide exceptional audio, thanks to the use of high-quality audio chips and Two-Way AI Noise-Canceling technology. And for aesthetics, Aura Sync RGB lighting and Gen 2 addressable headers with advanced auto-detection features combine to give any build a unique look.

  • Latest X570 motherboards feature an upgraded power design and rich connectivity, including WiFi 6E and Thunderbolt 4.
  • Exclusive Dynamic OC Switcher enables new overclocking options to maximize single- and multi-threaded performance with AMD Ryzen CPUs.
  • Passive chipset cooling: Comprehensive thermal designs unleash the full performance of the X570 chipset without an active cooling fan.
  • Additional user-friendly features include BIOS FlashBack, M.2 Q-Latch and addressable RGB LED headers.
