ASUS has announced the launch of its global Trick Out Your Build giveaway contest, offering prizes worth up to US$12,000. Running from 22 September to 30 November 2025, the competition invites gamers and PC enthusiasts to take part for a chance to win high-end hardware and peripherals.
A global contest for PC enthusiasts
The contest gives participants the opportunity to win a custom-built PC, named Your Next Dream Build, along with ASUS BTF hardware bundles and a wide range of gaming products. Prizes include the ROG X870E BTF motherboard, ROG Ryuo IV SLC 360 ARGB cooler, ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card, TUF Gaming x Hatsune Miku peripherals, and a gaming monitor.
ASUS is collaborating with partners including AMD, Intel, Corsair, G.SKILL, Kingston, Lian Li, Micron, and TeamGroup. These companies are contributing CPUs, memory, SSDs, and chassis components to the bundles, ensuring that winners receive complete and powerful setups.
To join, participants must visit the official contest website, follow the listed instructions, and submit their entries. The highlight of the competition is the Dream Build PC prize, where entrants create their own ideal configuration by selecting a motherboard, graphics card, chassis, PSU, and AIO cooler from the Dream PC Wish List page. By uploading a screenshot of their chosen build to Gleam and earning the required points, one participant will secure the entire setup.
Inspiring builds and AI-driven features
ASUS is also showcasing nine new PC build ideas to inspire gamers, content creators, and first-time builders. These designs combine ASUS 800 series motherboards with the latest GeForce RTX 50 and Radeon RX 90 series graphics cards, paired with ASUS AIO coolers. The aim is to deliver visually cohesive systems that are easy to assemble while offering strong performance.
Exclusive features are also being introduced to support advanced workflows. ASUS AI Cache Boost, available on AMD 800 and 600 series motherboards with Ryzen 9000 processors, optimises CPU cache and memory pathways to achieve up to 29% faster large language model performance with high-speed memory tuning.
Meanwhile, ASUS Intel motherboards benefit from AI NPU Boost, a BIOS-based feature that overclocks the integrated NPU within Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processors. With a single click, this setting increases performance by up to 24%, helping users accelerate AI-driven workloads.
A closer look at key prizes
Beyond the Dream Build PC, standout prizes include the ROG Crosshair X870E Hero BTF motherboard, which integrates hidden connectors for a cleaner build. It supports AMD Ryzen 9000, 8000, and 7000 series desktop processors and features PCIe 5.0, DDR5 slots with NitroPath DRAM technology, and AI-enhanced tuning.
The motherboard is compatible with the high-power gold finger connection on ASUS BTF graphics cards, delivering up to 600W directly through the board. It also comes with ASUS-exclusive technologies such as AI Advisor, AI Overclocking, AI Cooling II, and AI Networking II, along with built-in Polymo Lighting II for visual customisation.
Another prize, the ROG Ryuo IV SLC 360 ARGB cooler, features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display for displaying 3D videos, system data, or custom graphics. The innovative curved-screen design and shorter tubing allow better visibility of components, while ROG ARGB fans ensure stable cooling performance for both AMD Ryzen 9000 and Intel Core Ultra processors.
The contest is open worldwide and runs until 30 November 2025.
