ASUS launches Prime AP202 microATX case with panoramic glass and improved airflow

ASUS Prime AP202 case debuts in Singapore with curved glass, optimised airflow, and support for 360mm radiators and 420mm GPUs.

ASUS has announced the launch of its Prime AP202 microATX computer case, combining a sleek, curved tempered glass panel with optimised airflow for better performance and aesthetics. Available in Singapore, the new case is designed to suit a wide range of users, from gamers and content creators to those building a reliable everyday system.

Designed for visibility and versatility

The standout feature of the Prime AP202 is its panoramic window, constructed from a single piece of curved tempered glass. The wraparound design offers extensive visibility of internal components from multiple angles, making it ideal for those who want to showcase their hardware. Available in black or white, the case provides flexibility in matching internal and external aesthetics.

The tempered glass panel is not only durable but also easy to remove and reattach, thanks to a detachable rail and anti-drop mechanism. This makes it safer and more convenient for users to access internal components.

ASUS is offering two versions of the Prime AP202. The base model comes without fans, allowing users to customise their cooling setup, while the ARGB variant includes three pre-installed MR120 ARGB fans for a more visually striking setup. Both models feature a customisable light strip near the bottom of the case and support lighting control via the ASUS Armoury Crate app.

Enhanced cooling and airflow

To address the demands of high-performance components, ASUS has prioritised cooling efficiency in the AP202. The case features a patented slot-shaped vent beneath the panel, specifically designed to direct airflow towards key components, particularly the graphics card. This design results in improved thermal performance, as verified by internal testing against similar cases on the market.

The case supports 360mm radiators, graphics cards up to 420mm long, and power supply units up to 200mm long, giving users ample room to build high-end systems. Removable dust filters at the top and bottom of the chassis help minimise dust accumulation and maintain system cleanliness over time.

User-friendly features and connectivity

ASUS has also focused on making the AP202 easier to build in. A 30mm-wide cable management compartment keeps wiring neat, while a unified front I/O header simplifies motherboard installation. The I/O panel includes a USB Type-C port (20Gbps), two USB Type-A ports (5Gbps), and a combined audio jack, offering quick access for essential peripherals.

The case’s internal layout provides sufficient clearance for large GPUs and liquid cooling systems, supporting a wide range of builds without compromising on ease of assembly or future upgrades.

Availability and pricing

The ASUS Prime AP202 is now available in Singapore. The ARGB model, which includes three case fans, is priced at S$179, while the base model without fans is available for S$149. Both colour options—black and white—are available for each variant.
