Lian Li unveils O11D Mini V2 PC case with improved compatibility and airflow

Lian Li launches the O11D Mini V2, featuring support for ATX PSUs, enhanced cooling, and modular design options in black and white.

Lian Li has officially launched the O11D Mini V2, a compact PC case that builds on the success of its original O11D Mini released five years ago. After a preview at Computex earlier this year, the updated model is now available in the United States and the United Kingdom, with other markets expected to follow.

The new version offers several key upgrades, including enhanced hardware support, more flexible mounting options, and an improved airflow design. With a slightly larger footprint, the O11D Mini V2 is designed for enthusiasts seeking a compact yet versatile chassis that doesn’t compromise on performance.

Slightly larger design brings expanded hardware support

Measuring 423.6 x 273.3 x 391.95mm, the O11D Mini V2 is marginally larger than its predecessor, resulting in a total internal volume of 45 litres — a 2-litre increase. This additional space enables the case to accommodate ATX-sized power supply units up to 200mm in width. This is made possible through a side protrusion at the PSU area and an offset mounting bracket, offering more flexibility when choosing components.

The case also supports a wide range of motherboard sizes, including ATX, micro-ATX (mATX), and mini-ITX. Notably, it is compatible with ATX Back-Connect motherboards and features movable standoffs on the motherboard tray, allowing for adjustable installation height. This means that smaller boards, such as mATX, can be mounted lower, creating room for thicker radiators at the top of the case. Cable management is also aided by a series of straps positioned at the rear of the case.

Improved airflow and cooling options

Cooling has been a particular focus in this updated design. The O11D Mini V2 can accommodate radiators up to 360mm in height and 240mm in width. For additional cooling, up to three 120mm fans can be installed on the bottom of the case. These bottom fans sit on a tray that is angled upwards at 10 degrees to direct airflow more effectively towards the graphics card, which can help improve GPU temperatures under load.

To further support large GPUs, Lian Li has included anti-sag brackets for both vertical and horizontal GPU mounting orientations. These features are designed to prevent drooping, especially when installing heavier graphics cards.

The case also comes with a modular I/O panel, which users can reposition on either the top or bottom of the case to suit their setup. This small but thoughtful touch makes cable access easier, especially for those building in tight or space-constrained environments.

Pricing, colour options and availability

The O11D Mini V2 is available in both black and white finishes, priced at US$89.99. For users looking for a more airflow-optimised setup straight out of the box, Lian Li also offers the O11D Mini V2 Flow variant. This version includes five pre-installed 120mm reverse fans and is priced at US$99.99.

While the new cases are currently available for purchase in the US and UK, Lian Li has not yet confirmed an exact date for broader international release. However, given the popularity of the original O11D Mini, interest in the V2 is expected to be strong across global markets.
