ASUS unveils TUF Gaming BE9400 WiFi 7 router in Singapore

ASUS launches the TUF Gaming BE9400 WiFi 7 router in Singapore with tri-band speeds, gaming optimisation, and advanced security.

ASUS has announced the TUF Gaming BE9400, its latest WiFi 7 router designed to deliver high-speed connectivity, enhanced stability, and long-lasting durability. The router will be available in Singapore from the end of October 2025 at a retail price of S$329, targeting gamers, streamers, and households looking for reliable next-generation wireless performance.

High-speed tri-band connectivity

The TUF Gaming BE9400 is built on WiFi 7 technology, which offers faster data transmission and reduced latency compared to earlier generations. With tri-band throughput of up to 9400Mbps, it uses ultrawide 320MHz channels and 4096-QAM modulation to achieve higher capacity and efficiency. Multi-Link Operation (MLO) allows devices to connect across the 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz bands simultaneously or switch between them seamlessly. This helps maintain stable speeds, even when multiple devices are competing for bandwidth.

The router is designed to cover up to 2,500 square feet, making it suitable for larger homes and apartments where multiple users rely on high-speed internet. ASUS has positioned the BE9400 as a solution for households that demand fast, uninterrupted performance for activities such as 4K streaming, cloud gaming, or managing large numbers of smart home devices.

Optimised for gaming and continuous connectivity

Gaming remains a central focus for the TUF series, and the BE9400 incorporates several features tailored for this audience. It is equipped with three 2.5G LAN ports and one 2.5G WAN port, providing multi-gig wired connections. One of the LAN ports is designated as a dedicated gaming port, ensuring priority traffic routing for smoother online play. This reduces lag and keeps gaming performance consistent, even when other devices in the household are consuming bandwidth.

The router also supports Mobile Game Mode, which can be activated with a single tap on the companion app to reduce latency for handheld devices. OpenNAT streamlines port forwarding, enabling gamers to set up sessions with minimal technical hassle. Additionally, support for USB 4G and 5G mobile tethering ensures that users can stay connected, even if their primary broadband service experiences interruptions. Together, these features aim to deliver a gaming-ready environment for both casual and competitive players.

Security, management, and smart home integration

Beyond speed and gaming performance, ASUS has focused on network security and ease of management. The BE9400 is supported by the ASUS Router app, which provides users with straightforward tools to configure networks, monitor traffic, and manage connected devices. Families can set up separate SSIDs under the Smart Home Master feature, enabling different profiles for IoT devices, children’s access, VPNs, and dedicated MLO networks.

Security is built around AiProtection and safe browsing, designed to provide commercial-grade defences against online threats. These measures include blocking malicious websites and detecting potential vulnerabilities within connected devices. For more advanced users, the router supports up to 30 VPN clients at once, with compatibility for protocols such as WireGuard, OpenVPN, and IPSec. This makes it useful for remote workers, privacy-conscious users, and those managing multiple secure connections.

The BE9400 is also compatible with AiMesh, ASUS’s whole-home mesh networking system, allowing users to extend coverage seamlessly by linking additional routers. In line with its TUF branding, the router has undergone rigorous durability testing to ensure stability and long-term performance, addressing a common concern for users investing in gaming-focused networking gear.

Availability in Singapore

The ASUS TUF Gaming BE9400 WiFi 7 router will be available in Singapore from the end of October 2025. Priced at S$329, it sits in the mid-range segment of WiFi 7 devices, aiming to provide a balance between high-end performance and affordability. With its mix of speed, durability, and gaming features, ASUS is positioning the BE9400 as an option for households that want future-ready connectivity without the premium pricing of flagship models.
