Cloudera recognised as leader in Forrester’s 2025 data fabric platforms report

Cloudera named a leader in Forrester’s 2025 data fabric platforms report for its scalable, unified, and intelligent data management.

Cloudera has been named a leader in The Forrester Wave: Data Fabric Platforms, Q4 2025 report, highlighting its strength in helping organisations build modern, scalable, and intelligent data ecosystems.

Strength in modern data management

The independent analyst report described Cloudera as “an ideal choice for organisations that want robust data processing, scalable storage, and persistent data management to power modern business use cases.” The recognition places Cloudera among the top data fabric providers globally, following an evaluation of 14 vendors across 26 criteria covering product capability, strategy, and customer satisfaction.

Data fabrics have become a foundation for modern enterprise data strategies. They connect and manage data across diverse environments, from public clouds to on-premise data centres and edge systems. Cloudera’s platform enables organisations to unify these data sources, providing secure, compliant, and scalable access to insights. The report highlighted that “Cloudera’s unified platform integrates and orchestrates diverse data, delivering the scalability and flexibility needed to drive actionable insights across the enterprise.”

Highest scores in key categories

Cloudera achieved the highest possible scores in seven categories, including End-to-End Integrated Fabric, Unified Data Catalog, Real-Time Performance and Scalability, Vision, Roadmap, Metadata Management, and Agentic AI. These results reflect the company’s focus on building an adaptive data fabric capable of supporting a wide range of workloads and use cases.

The recognition also reinforces Cloudera’s ongoing investment in its hybrid and multi-cloud architecture. By allowing businesses to manage and analyse data consistently across different environments, Cloudera’s data fabric helps enterprises improve agility, meet regulatory requirements, and accelerate the adoption of AI and analytics at scale.

Commitment to innovation and trusted AI

Leo Brunnick, Chief Product Officer at Cloudera, said the recognition validates the company’s approach to simplifying complex data environments while enabling innovation. “For us, being named a Leader reinforces our belief that the future of data management lies in unified and adaptive fabrics that empower organisations to manage and access their data anywhere,” he said. “We believe our position in this report is validation of our vision and commitment to delivering technology that simplifies data architectures, accelerates innovation, and unlocks trusted AI.”

Cloudera continues to focus on advancing data intelligence through unified management, governance, and AI integration. Its platform is designed to help enterprises gain real-time insights, improve decision-making, and reduce the complexity of managing data across increasingly fragmented ecosystems.

The company’s inclusion as a leader in Forrester’s 2025 report underscores its standing as a key player in shaping the next generation of enterprise data platforms.
