Delta Electronics showcases smarter and sustainable solutions at ITAP 2024

Delta showcases energy storage, virtual simulation, and smart building systems at ITAP 2024, promoting sustainability and industrial efficiency.

Delta Electronics, a global leader in power management and smart green IoT solutions, is focusing on integrated technologies to promote a smarter and more sustainable world at the Industrial Transformation ASIA-PACIFIC (ITAP) 2024 event. The company is showcasing a range of innovative products designed to optimise industrial processes, address labour shortages, and enhance renewable energy management.

Among the key highlights are Delta’s DIATwin Virtual Machine Development Platform, advanced building management systems, and their Energy Storage System (ESS). These products aim to improve efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and offer businesses the ability to streamline their operations in an increasingly complex industrial landscape.

Speaking at the event, Mr. PS Tang, General Manager of Delta Electronics Singapore, stated: “Delta is at the forefront of developing integrated solutions that drive energy efficiency and sustainability. Our focus on advanced technologies ensures we deliver smarter systems for a greener future, addressing the growing demand for clean energy and intelligent infrastructure.”

Mr. David Leal, Regional Vice President of SEA Business at Delta Electronics, added: “ITAP 2024 provides a strategic avenue for Delta to collaborate with industry leaders and explore new opportunities for industrial efficiency and sustainability across the Asia Pacific region. By showcasing our technologies, we aim to help companies optimise operations while reducing their environmental footprint, building a smarter, more sustainable industrial future.”

Focus on virtual simulation, building automation, and energy storage

In response to the industry’s shift towards low-volume, high-variety production, Delta is presenting smart manufacturing solutions aimed at improving production efficiency and sustainability. Central to this effort is their Digital Twin Solution, which includes the DIATwin Virtual Machine Development Platform and the Reconfigurable Transformer Machine. These tools enable engineers to simulate and optimise production processes, enhancing overall quality and reducing programming times.

Delta’s building automation systems are also in the spotlight. These systems integrate energy management and smart workspace solutions, featuring programmable controllers, touch panels, and IoT interfaces. For instance, the Delta Intelligent Meeting Room Control allows users to lower blinds, adjust room temperature, dim lights, and initiate presentations at the touch of a button, creating an ideal environment for meetings.

At ITAP 2024, Delta’s Energy Storage System (ESS) is another key product drawing attention. Designed to improve energy efficiency and promote sustainable practices, the ESS helps manage power use by balancing demand and optimising renewable energy sources. This cloud-based system, combined with advanced battery technology, provides reliable energy storage for homes, businesses, and utilities, helping users reduce energy costs and move towards a greener future.

Robotics and precision systems enhance production

Delta is also introducing its Linear Pocket Actuator LPL Series, which is engineered to improve production efficiency in the electronics and semiconductor industries. Paired with Delta’s AC Servo System, the Linear Pocket Actuator allows for high-speed, precise pick-and-place operations, ensuring delicate materials are handled carefully to minimise the risk of damage. This makes it an essential solution for manufacturers seeking to enhance speed, accuracy, and quality in production.

Attendees of ITAP 2024 can also explore Delta’s AIDEN service robot (Autonomous Intelligence for Delivery and Engagement). Developed by the Delta Research Center, AIDEN operates autonomously without requiring building modifications, offering a cost-effective and time-saving solution. Equipped with AI-powered vision, cameras, and sensors, AIDEN can navigate complex spaces, press elevator buttons, and adapt to real-time obstacles, ensuring smooth and safe operations in multi-floor environments.

Delta’s presence at ITAP 2024 reinforces its commitment to helping industries transition to smarter, more sustainable systems that address modern challenges in energy, automation, and production efficiency.
