Get hands-on with the Nintendo Switch 2 at Jewel Changi Airport

Try the Nintendo Switch 2 early at Jewel Changi Airport from June 20–July 24 and get a free gift with your pre-order.

There’s good news if you’re curious about the Nintendo Switch 2 but hesitant to spend your money just yet. Nintendo allows you to try the new console before officially launching in Singapore.

From June 20 to July 24, a special Nintendo Switch 2 pop-up will be held at the B1 Atrium of Jewel Changi Airport. You can test out the new console and its highly anticipated launch title, Mario Kart World.

Thanks to the pop-up’s two-player setup, you won’t just be watching demos – you can race with a friend. Nintendo will also let you experience the game’s brand-new Knockout Tour mode, adding a fun, competitive twist to your trial session. While there are no prizes to win, the experience could be more than enough to help you decide if the upgrade is worth it.

Pre-order at the pop-up and get a gift

If the demo wins you, you won’t need to look far to secure your Switch 2. Pre-orders will be available at the pop-up booth until June 25, just before the official launch. And if you’d rather not wait, you can purchase the console directly starting June 26.

There’s more: if you play Mario Kart World at the event and choose to either pre-order or buy the Switch 2, you’ll receive an exclusive Nintendo tote bag—but only while stocks last. So, if you’re hoping to pick up the freebie, it’s best to head over early.

What you’ll pay – and what bundle offers the best value

The Nintendo Switch 2 will retail in Singapore for S$719. If you’re also planning to pick up Mario Kart World, the best deal is the bundle offer, priced at S$769. It includes a physical game cartridge, and given that Mario Kart World costs S$119.90, the bundle offers a solid discount.

All other launch accessories and game pricing will also be available at the event, giving you a complete overview of what’s on offer before making any decisions.

So, whether you’re a long-time Nintendo fan or just curious about their newest tech, this pop-up offers a great chance to explore what the next generation of Nintendo gaming feels like—before anyone else gets their hands on it.
