Plaud has launched its latest flagship AI note-taking device, the Plaud Note Pro, in Singapore, marking the local debut of what the company describes as the world’s first AI note-taker designed to enable real-time human-AI alignment. Credit-card sized and slim enough to slide into a wallet or pocket, the device is positioned for professionals who rely heavily on meetings, interviews, conferences, and extended discussions to drive decisions and ideas.
The launch reflects Plaud’s belief that conversations are a form of intelligence that often goes uncaptured or underutilised. By combining hardware-based recording with AI-powered analysis, the Plaud Note Pro aims to turn spoken discussions into structured, actionable insights without disrupting the flow of conversation. The company says the device is built for moments where clarity, accuracy, and context matter, especially in professional environments where decisions are made verbally before being documented.
Nathan XU, Co-founder and CEO of Plaud, said the new product represents a shift in how humans and AI work together during live conversations. “We believe conversation is a form of intelligence,” he said. “For the first time, Plaud’s unique ‘Press to highlight’ feature enables humans to signal to AI what matters most in real time, achieving true human-AI alignment so insights remain accurate, actionable, and aligned with your intent.”
New interaction model and advanced audio capture
At the core of the Plaud Note Pro is a new human-machine interaction model designed to improve how AI understands context during recording. The on-device “Press to Highlight” function allows users to mark important moments while a conversation is still ongoing. These signals guide the AI when generating summaries, insights, and action points, helping it prioritise what the user has identified as important rather than relying solely on automated inference.

Plaud describes this as the world’s first real-time method for humans to align with large language models during live recording. By capturing user intent at the moment key ideas or decisions are discussed, the system aims to reduce misinterpretation and improve the relevance of generated outputs, particularly in complex or fast-moving discussions.
From a hardware perspective, the Plaud Note Pro is engineered to deliver high-quality audio capture in professional settings. The device uses four precision MEMS microphones combined with AI beamforming technology, allowing it to clearly record voices from up to five metres away. This makes it suitable for boardrooms, group meetings, and conference settings where speakers may not be seated close to the device.
Despite its compact form factor, measuring just 2.99mm thick and weighing 30g, the device is designed for extended use. An optimised battery supports up to 50 hours of continuous recording, allowing it to handle long meetings or even multi-day offsites on a single charge. Plaud also highlights its Smart Dual Mode Recording capability, which can automatically detect whether the user is recording a phone call or an in-person meeting, ensuring seamless operation across different scenarios without manual switching.
Availability and pricing in Singapore
The Plaud Note Pro is now available in Singapore at a retail price of S$259. Consumers can purchase the device through Plaud’s official website, as well as at major IT retailers islandwide, including Best Denki, Challenger, Courts, Harvey Norman, Metapod, Popular, and Parisilk. It is also available online via Krisshop, Amazon, Lazada, and Shopee.
Plaud positions the Note Pro as a tool for professionals who value accuracy, efficiency, and clarity in documenting conversations. By combining long battery life, advanced audio capture, and a new approach to real-time human-AI interaction, the company aims to address common pain points in note-taking, such as missed details, poor audio quality, and AI-generated summaries that lack context.
As AI tools become increasingly embedded in everyday work, Plaud’s latest launch highlights a growing focus on aligning AI outputs more closely with human intent. The Plaud Note Pro’s emphasis on real-time input from users suggests a broader shift towards collaborative intelligence, where humans actively guide AI rather than passively reviewing its results after the fact.
