Razer unveils the Kishi Ultra: A versatile gaming controller for multiple devices

Discover Razer's new Kishi Ultra, a versatile gaming controller compatible with iOS, Android, and PC devices.

Razer has introduced the Kishi Ultra, a new gaming controller designed to enhance the mobile gaming experience across a variety of platforms. The Kishi Ultra is compatible with a broad range of devices, including the latest iOS and Android phones, larger tablets like the iPad Mini, and even PCs. This wide compatibility is achieved through a unique USB-C “island” design, which allows the controller to accommodate most popular phone cases, such as those for Apple’s Pro Max models. This innovative feature eliminates the need to remove your phone case to enjoy gaming, providing convenience and ease of use.

Enhanced gaming with Sensa HD haptics and Chroma RGB lighting

The Kishi Ultra is equipped with Razer’s advanced Sensa HD immersive haptics technology, first introduced in the Project Esther gaming chair. This technology transforms audio from games, films, or music into tactile feedback, enriching the user experience with physical sensations that match the on-screen action. However, it is important to note that Sensa HD is currently only available for devices running Android 12 or later and Windows 11, leaving iOS users to wait for future updates. Additionally, the controller features Razer’s signature Chroma RGB lighting beneath the joysticks, adding a touch of personalisation and style to the gaming setup.

Updated Kishi V2 USB C also launched

Alongside the Kishi Ultra, Razer has released an updated version of the Kishi V2 USB C controller. This new iteration includes a USB-C port, ensuring compatibility with the latest Apple and Android devices. It also supports wired connections to PCs and iPads, broadening its usability.

Both the Kishi Ultra and the updated Kishi V2 USB C are available for purchase at the Razer Store. The Kishi Ultra is priced at S$239, while the Kishi V2 USB C is available at a slightly more affordable price of S$169, offering options for different budgets and needs.

Razer’s latest releases highlight the company’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of mobile gaming technology. By providing high-quality, versatile gaming controllers, Razer aims to deliver an unmatched gaming experience to users across various devices and platforms.
