Samsung’s new Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra and S10+ are built for AI

Samsung introduced the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra and S10+, which feature AI tools, AMOLED displays, and powerful performance starting at US$999.

Samsung is pushing the boundaries of tablet technology once again with the launch of its Galaxy Tab S10 series. These new tablets come packed with AI-powered features, offering cutting-edge performance right out of the box. Available in two models, the 14.6-inch Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra and the 12.4-inch Galaxy Tab S10+, these devices boast impressive specs and AI enhancements designed to deliver a seamless user experience. Both tablets feature anti-reflective Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays and quad speakers with AI Dialogue Boost, ensuring crisp visuals and sound. Plus, with an IP68 durability rating, these tablets are tough enough to handle daily wear and tear. The Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra and S10+ will be available next month.

The Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra: Powerful performance and AI integration

The Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra is built on Android 14 and comes with a stunning 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, offering a 120Hz refresh rate and a high resolution of 2960 x 1848. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor and with options of either 12GB or 16GB of RAM, the Tab S10 Ultra is designed to support all your AI needs. It has features like Circle to Search, Handwriting Assist, Note Assist, and Sketch to Image. These AI tools and the included S Pen let you interact with your tablet creatively and efficiently. The stylus also unlocks Air Command with AI, giving you quick access to powerful features without navigating menus.

The Tab S10 Ultra is more than just a tablet – it can act as a central hub for your SmartThings devices, providing a 3D Map View and Insight Messages to help you monitor your smart home. It also has a robust camera setup, with 13MP and 8MP ultra-wide rear cameras, plus two 12MP front-facing cameras for high-quality video calls and selfies.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, 5G, and Bluetooth 5.3, and the 11,200 mAh battery ensures you have enough power to get through your day. Samsung Knox security offers additional protection, while the tablet can be used as a second screen for enhanced productivity. In addition to the S Pen, optional accessories include two types of keyboard covers, a smart book cover, and an outdoor cover for added versatility.

The Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra comes in Moonstone Grey and Platinum Silver, starting at US$1,200 for the 256GB model. You can also opt for 512GB or 1TB models. If that’s not enough storage, there’s a MicroSD slot that supports up to 1.5TB of additional space. Pre-orders begin today.

The Galaxy Tab S10+: A smaller alternative with similar features

The Galaxy Tab S10+ is an excellent option for those seeking a slightly smaller device. While it shares many similarities with the Tab S10 Ultra, including its AI-powered tools and overall design, there are a few notable differences. The S10+ has a 12.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a resolution of 2800 x 1752 but retains the same 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and gaming.

The camera setup on the rear is the same as the Ultra, but the front-facing camera on the Tab S10+ only includes a single 12MP ultra-wide lens. The storage options are also a bit different, with the Tab S10+ offering two configurations with 12GB of RAM. The smaller size also means a slightly smaller battery – the Tab S10+ has a 10,090 mAh battery, which is still impressive.

Like the Ultra, the Tab S10+ is available in Moonstone Grey and Platinum Silver. Prices start at US$999 for the 256GB model and a 512GB option. The tablet comes with the same MicroSD slot, supporting up to 1.5TB of extra storage, and pre-orders are available starting today.

Samsung’s new Galaxy Tab S10 series represents the next step in tablet technology, combining powerful hardware with intelligent AI features for an enhanced user experience. Whether you go for the Ultra or the S10+, these tablets are designed to meet the needs of users looking for advanced functionality and seamless integration with their digital lives.
