Singtel’s new 5G Priority plans offer 4x faster speeds and exclusive perks

Singtel’s new 5G+ Priority plans offer 4x faster speeds, better roaming, added security, and premium care with no contract needed.

Singtel has unveiled a new series of 5G mobile plans called the 5G plus Priority plans, designed to give you faster speeds and premium service. These plans are available for postpaid and SIM-only customers and can be used with either a physical SIM or an eSIM. With the 5G+ Priority plans, you can access Singtel’s upgraded “5G+” network, which uses network slicing to provide a faster and more stable connection.

Singtel’s standard 5G network typically delivers download speeds of up to 1Gbps and upload speeds of up to 100Mbps. However, with the 5G+ Priority network, speeds can be up to four times faster. This means you can enjoy quicker downloads, smoother streaming, and more reliable app usage, especially in crowded areas or during significant events.

Enjoy better speeds, protection and customer service

Aside from faster speeds, the 5G+ Priority plans also offer a range of added benefits that enhance your mobile experience. One key feature is Priority Security, which comes with free access to Mobile Protect and 12 months of McAfee Mobile Security. This gives you stronger protection against threats, both at home and while travelling.

When you’re overseas, Priority Roaming ensures you have first access to Singtel’s partner networks in 81 destinations. This makes your roaming connection more secure and stable than relying on public Wi-Fi or foreign SIM cards. You can confidently travel, knowing your mobile experience will be reliable wherever you go.

Singtel has also introduced Priority Care, a service that ensures you’re assisted first, whether you visit a retail store, call the support hotline or use the live chat feature. This adds a layer of convenience, especially if you need help quickly.

The new 5G+ technology has already been tested during high-demand events such as the National Day Parade and Taylor Swift and Coldplay concerts. During these events, Singtel users could share videos and photos without experiencing the usual lag that often comes with large crowds. The upgraded network handled the traffic smoothly, proving its performance under pressure.

Cheong Hai Thoo, Singtel’s Vice President of Mobile and Networks, demonstrated the new 5G+ speeds. In side-by-side tests, phones using the 5G+ network opened apps like YouTube and Grab noticeably faster than those using standard 5G, clearly showing the benefit of the upgrade.

Serving both personal and business needs

At the launch event, Singtel Singapore’s Chief Executive Officer, Ng Tian Chong, shared how the new plans are designed to meet consumers’ and businesses’ increasing digital needs. He explained that people live more connected lives, while companies search for advanced tools to help them grow and innovate. With that in mind, Singtel has been investing heavily in expanding its 5G network so that Singapore can lead in digital innovation.

Over the past few years, Singtel has improved its network by introducing the 700MHz spectrum, which is especially useful in dense city environments. This band allows better signal penetration, meaning your phone will work more smoothly in hard-to-reach spots like underground car parks, residential blocks, and tall office buildings. The goal is to ensure that your calls and internet stay stable, even in places where the signal is usually weak.

Singtel is already rolling out its 5G+ network at key enterprise sites, including Changi Airport, the National University Health System (NUHS), and the Port of Singapore Authority (PSA). At these locations, the network is used for various tasks, such as tracking luggage, keeping ground crew safe, powering AI-driven medical robots, and improving port operations. The technology also helps reduce data breaches and block unauthorised access.

This new network builds on Singtel’s earlier launch of Paragon, a platform that allows businesses to use Singtel’s 5G and multi-access edge computing (MEC) for their applications. With Paragon, companies can create and manage network slices tailored to their specific needs, with the ability to scale and adjust in real-time.

Plan pricing and what you get

Singtel is offering two SIM-only 5G+ Priority plans with no contract needed. The Priority Plus plan costs S$55 per month, including access to the faster 5G+ network, Priority Care, 200GB of local data, 3GB of Asia roaming, and 1,000 minutes of talktime with 1,000 SMS. It also comes with Caller ID, Mobile Protect, 12 months of McAfee Mobile Security, 12 months of Disney+ Premium, and a one-month trial for Spotify, The Entertainer app and Straits Times One Digital. If you buy a new phone using PayLater, you get S$10 monthly cashback.

The Priority Ultra plan costs US$80 per month and offers more data and extra features. It includes unlimited local data, 6GB of Asia roaming, 1,500 minutes of talk time, 1,500 SMS, and all the same perks as the Priority Plus plan. In addition, it offers S$20 monthly cashback on new phones with PayLater.

With these new plans, Singtel aims to offer more than fast internet. You’ll enjoy exclusive services, added protection, and better support, all while enjoying a faster and more stable mobile connection.
