Tack One introduces new GPS tracker at CES 2024

Tack One reveals Tack GPS Plus at CES 2024, a cutting-edge tracker for children and seniors featuring an indoor elevation finder and the new OurSphere app.

Singapore’s Tack One has unveiled an advanced version of its GPS tracker, the Tack GPS Plus, at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024. This device is designed to enhance the safety of children, older people, and pets with state-of-the-art technology.

Addressing battery life and affordability

Launched in 2021, Tack One’s original GPS tracker solved issues such as limited battery life and high service costs in tracking devices. The upgraded Tack GPS Plus significantly improves with a 30-day battery life on a single charge. Additionally, it provides cost-effective subscription plans, starting at US$2.95 monthly for a two-year commitment.

Features of the Tack GPS Plus

Priced at US$79, the Tack GPS Plus is a compact and multifunctional device. It integrates GPS, Wi-Fi, Internet of Things (IoT) mobile networks, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) with low-power intelligent sensors. Its unique feature is the patent-pending indoor elevation finder, which employs intelligent algorithms and sensors to locate people or items in multilevel buildings. Tack One asserts that this feature can notably decrease search times in urban high-rises by offering vertical distance and geographical coordinates.

Broadening applications and rising demand

The Tack GPS Plus serves a diverse user base, including parents, caregivers, and pet owners, and helps track valuable items. It’s particularly beneficial in scenarios like monitoring patients with chronic conditions, enhancing personal and family safety, protecting assets, and aiding in disaster management.

Launching the OurSphere mobile app

Tack One has also rolled out the OurSphere mobile app alongside the Tack GPS Plus. This app facilitates monitoring multiple Tack devices and introduces a real-time location-sharing feature among users. This function benefits families or businesses, allowing even those without a Tack device to share their location via the app. OurSphere, available from mid-January, will also offer a web dashboard for businesses managing many Tack devices.

Expansion and future ambitions

Following the Tack GPS Plus, the company also showcased the Tack EVO FloodFinder, a flood-detection device for corporate and government use in disaster response and environmental management. Tack One plans to extend its services to over 120 countries, focusing on regions like the U.S., Canada, the UK, Australia, Japan, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia. The company remains committed to providing innovative and accessible technology solutions worldwide.

Product availability and subscription options

The Tack GPS Plus is now available on Tack One’s official website and will be accessible on Amazon, Lazada, and Shopee around mid-January. The company offers subscription plans at US$3.95 per month for a one-year plan and US$4.95 per month for a month-to-month plan, underscoring its dedication to affordable and reliable technology for a global audience.
